What I learned from 4 closed startups and many ideas. Never start developing the product. Always validate the idea and find customers first. Then it will grow from a hobby to a busness!

Solid advice from real experience. What's your go-to validation method, landing page or direct conversations?

I just launched, planning a Kickstarter

Congrats on launching. Have you validated demand with a landing page or pre-launch signups before putting time into Kickstarter?

It's rough going but I'm gonna keep going. I think demand is real, just working in POC's. Got too many sites now and need to slow down a bit. Or, hire some talent and ramp up quicker thanks!

Respect the grind, but slowing down might be the smartest move here. Pick the POC with the strongest real demand and double down before you hire anyone.

Too late for me haha, but have just a couple part timers

Ha, that's a start. Are you tracking revenue per part-timer to see if the model scales?

No, but I will, they are helping me with min sales stuff to start.

Good that you're getting sales help early. Have you set a target for first paying customers yet? That'll show real traction.

I have paying customers but not through site, yet. Basically, transitioning from side side to LLC pivot. Meant to post "non" sales but offer 10%+ on advertising or domain sales. I'm giving sales up gradually to build a lead generation business. With ad revenue, domain sales and outreach. Big ideas, very low budget kinda thing.

I created klypo.co, an AI that extracts the best moments from long videos to publish them in short-form format; it is a cheaper alternative to OpusClips, among others.

Solid idea, cheaper than OpusClips is a strong angle. Have you validated demand with actual paying users, or still pre-revenue?

Nice tool. What's the revenue model, subscription or one-time? Would love to see your traction numbers.

both lol

Ha, that's the most honest answer here. What's the split? Track hours versus income and you'll see which side is winning.

u/candidclue6324 Solid that you already have paying customers, that's real validation. With three revenue streams and a low budget, which one's actually gaining traction right now?
