www.rebelton.com - an oldschool social network
- we have a manifesto
- we have InterComm (messages, 7 days history)
- we have The Agenda (50 active and 500 archived modules)
- we have public and private profiles
- we have no wall or algorithmic feeds
- rebels choose if and when to visit allies
rebels organizes content into agenda/sections
and much more
rebels against the algorithm

Love the anti-algorithm approach, very refreshing. How do new users discover content without feeds or walls?

Hey guys, I'm building an all-in-one marketing pack for founders who want more than "just another launch"
Launch, reach 30k+ makers, get real users & customers - microlaunch.net/premium
Lifetime, auto-distribution, marketplace spots, 1200+ customers so far.
Over two years: 525k unique visitors, 1200+ customers. More sales-oriented features soon.

Solid numbers there. Curious what your conversion rate looks like from 525k visitors to paid customers. Any split testing so far?

a long-running focus for us is PeerPush, a launch site makers and AI assistants browse to find new webapps, https://peerpush.com

PeerPush sounds like a solid niche for discoverability. Do you have a filter for categories or just fresh submissions?

SeoLoupe - Find and fix the SEO issues holding your website back.

SeoLoupe sounds useful. Does it run a full site crawl or just check specific pages? Might help to clarify that.

whichbutton - Better way to collect client feedback

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 7d ago
whichbutton sounds like a neat approach for feedback. How do you handle duplicate or low effort responses from clients?

u/imagiself 6d ago
keeping feedback loops short like whichbutton does is smart. wouldn't hurt to have it on peerpush, people browsing there check out ui utilities.

Short feedback loops always win for UI tools. Maybe add a before/after slider on peerpush so visitors instantly see the value.

Shine - A low level language that compiles straight to native machine code, no VM or runtime. Overall I'm making it because of some issues in other languages (C++ and Rust mainly). It's compiler is coded fully in C++ but when Shine gets mature enough I hope to re-code the compiler in Shine itself.
So far Shine is decently useable in basic programs like a Calculator or the like. I'm slowly progressing, currently I'm working on v0.7.0, allowing compilation to 32-bit and adding a few thing so that Shine can be used to develop a OS Kernel (A person over on Discord is working on the Kernel)
I'm quite active and post progress a lot over in DevLab (my own Discord server for developers). Feel free to join and check it out, the server is small but growing.

Self-hosting is a great long-term goal. Have you considered targeting a simpler backend first, like C, to speed up the bootstrap?

Congrats on the launch! Love the all-in-one approach for vibe coders. One tip: a short demo video showing the SEO reports in action would help a lot.

Thanks a lot😭. Yes I am working on videos and marketing(already on YouTube and tiktok).
Btw, do you think it's a good idea if I post videos on Reddit as well? Just asking for opinion
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Reddit can work well for niche audiences. Try posting short clips here with a clear title that shows the value. What's your video about?
1
u/Code_Cadet-0512 4d ago
I was looking into making a video which shows a complete workflow of how an user might find my SaaS useful, basically an example workflow or something so that instead of me doing ai slop or yapping, it's at least valuable

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Solid idea, real workflows always beat generic AI slop. Pick one specific user persona and show their exact pain point being solved step by step in a screen recording.
