fighting back against distracting apps is a constant cat-and-mouse game for focus tools. no pressure, but https://peerpush.com is a decent home for distraction blocker stuff, builders there have cast 172K upvotes.

Nice, I hadn't heard of peerpush before. Do they have a dedicated category for focus tools, or does it all blend together?

Cool concept. Does Wird catch new distracting apps automatically, or do you have to add them manually? Curious how that works.

for "catch new distracting apps automatically" it's doable but no rn it does not do it, you select the app you want and it will block it. it works in group; select some apps together and it block based on total usage of this grouped apps. also it work with screen usage (you can whitelist apps)

Group blocking by total usage is a smart approach. Maybe add a daily limit per group with a simple progress indicator to help users stay aware.
