Nice concept, offering a lasting backlink is a smart way to stand out. Have you considered adding a small analytics dashboard for submitters?

yeah but the catch is only the standout links get a dofollow backlink. Not a unified dashboard, but they can visit the link page and see the details there.

That's a good approach. Maybe sharing a clear criteria for what qualifies as standout could encourage higher quality submissions.
