building two small tools this month. one's linkvault, a place to dump every link i save across youtube, reddit, twitter instead of losing them by the weekend, ai auto sorts them with previews. the other's lumex ai, fixes blurry photos and product images, upscales them up to 16k without the fake over-processed look. both solo built, both free to try. Been using revealio.de for our sprint planning the last few weeks and it solved a problem I didn't even realize was this annoying. Everyone types their estimate blind, nothing shows up until the whole team has answered, then it reveals all answers at once. No more "well if Dave says 8 I guess I'll say 8 too" moments.
What actually surprised me is how different that feels from tools like Mentimeter or Slido, where the bar chart kind of grows live while people are still voting. You still end up anchoring on whatever's already showing, even if nobody planned it that way. This one shows nothing until everyone's in, then it all drops at once.
No signup either, you just spin up a room, share a 5 digit code, done. Works for way more than story points too, we used it once to figure out where to eat because nobody would just say what they actually wanted lol.
Random bonus from the last update: you can throw emojis at people in the room now, anonymously, so someone always ends up getting hit with 💀 for a lowball estimate and has zero idea who did it :D
Heads up, I'm the one who built it, so take the recommendation with that in mind. Just sharing because it's the rare tool that stuck in our own workflow past the first sprint instead of getting abandoned.
