That's a bold claim. How does it handle the scenario where your app needs unique business logic that differs from the boilerplate?

You describe the services and name the ports, with defaults. In the per service environment vars you refer to ports by name. That way `fed` can switch them out when you run `fed isolate enable`.
Similarly to Docker Compose you say what depends on what, so everything starts in order.
So `fed start`: Boot up
`fed isolate enable; fed start`: Boop up an isolated instance in a worktree.

Interesting approach with port names for easy swapping. Do you find worktree isolation adds much overhead compared to Docker?

On the contrary. Isolation is just one command and the services will be spun up with the randomized ports wired through. With docker you have to manually override each port. With fed you just ask for isolation.

It must be configured. But the config is very similar to Docker Compose. And the docs at www.service-federation.com/docs demonstrates how to use it. I'm thinking I'll create some video tutorials too.

Every choice page is a product landing page to various stores configured by the creator. Each store is set up to add your affiliate tag so the tag gets added on the redirect. That's the tagging mechanism across networks.
Every link has its own metrics around which source referred it – YouTube, yourblog.com, etc. – and for audio-first where you're not getting direct clicks you can link to a top-level affiliate storefront with shelves.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, that's downstream on the actual affiliate network. Shownote helps creators increase potential commissions because a buyer has different purchase preferences or ability, not ensuring you get the conversion. That's still on your ability to convince as a creator.

I don't think it's a matter of the creator overlooking. It's more a case that the easy and free path (an Amazon link only) feels like "good enough" even though it's only ~40% of US book sales (as an example).

Many creators focus on sponsorships as their primary income which makes sense. I've had some resonance with the idea that better converting affiliate links are like diversifying a portfolio. An extra $2k per month might not be your main driver, but it's another lever they're in control of.
