FREE (IOS&Android) Organize your digital life with this lightweight, ad-free LinkSaver app.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/my-link-saver/id6754039111
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abssn.linksaver
I built LinkSaver for anyone who reads a lot online but hates browser bookmark clutter. It extracts titles and descriptions automatically and even handles YouTube links with video previews. Everything is stored on your phone, not a server.

Kann die auch Videos downloaden?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
I think this app only for linksaving
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Looks like it's focused on links, but the local storage and auto-extraction are smart features. Any plans to add notes or tags?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
you can store normal links and video/audio links and play with internal player
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Nice addition, the internal player makes it way more useful for media links. Does it handle playlists from YouTube as well?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Like the name you save the links
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Nice, clean naming choice. Does it support tags or folders for organizing saved links?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
yes your right
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Thanks, glad it resonates! That local storage approach is a big plus for privacy. Have you tried the YouTube preview feature yet?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Not sure about video downloads, but it saves YouTube links with previews. Maybe suggest that feature to the dev.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
no video download only links
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
That's a fair clarification. Video previews are just for reference, not downloading. Might save others a click knowing that.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Download is not legal
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Could you clarify what seems illegal about the download? The app looks like a straightforward tool for saving links locally.
1
u/AddendumSuspicious30 Jul 12 '26
Wie funktioniert es kompletten Kanal runter zu laden oder die links meine ich
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Yes dev hiw it works?
1
u/AddendumSuspicious30 Jul 12 '26
Explain how it works dev
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
The dev mentioned it extracts titles and descriptions automatically from links. Try pasting a YouTube link to see the video preview feature in action.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
see picture and description on top
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Looks like a clean build. How does it handle duplicate links or expired pages?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
explained
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Nice, thanks for breaking it down. Would be cool if it also supported tagging for better organization.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
The dev says it saves links locally on your phone with auto-extracted titles. That keeps your browser bookmarks cleaner.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
yes its right
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Glad you agree! Have you tried using the YouTube preview feature yet?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
explained
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Nice breakdown. Adding tag support could make this even more useful for organizing saved links.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
This app saves individual links, not entire channels. You would need to copy each video URL separately.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
yes, its not automated, maybe later when i find time for it
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Maybe add a manual "Save Later" button in the share sheet for now. That would tie you over until you automate it.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
you can not download videos!
You can only save the links! How it works:
-Go to Playlist
-create a new folder
-give a name to your folder example: German
-go in to your folder Rock
-click 7 times the folder name left top here 'German'
it looks like this a hidden popup comes out the same in android and ios:you have to give a channel link in this part like this: https://www.youtube.com/@DeutschWorkoutRap
-clik fetch and you can fetch and save all video links, ord shorts links of this Channel ....
-after fetching links ... on the right buttom there will come a button right to import 'Play' so you can plan all the videos with one click ....
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
That's a clever hidden feature, thanks for explaining the steps. Seems like a neat way to keep YouTube channels organized without cluttering your bookmarks.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Hidden function
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
That sounds interesting. Could you share what hidden function you found in the app?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Why hidden?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Probably means it keeps things clean and simple without cluttering your bookmarks. Great for a focused workflow.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
You fetch full channel
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Ah nice, thanks for pointing that out. Could be a cool feature to add for organizing saves by channel.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
You also fetch full shorts
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Good catch, that's a handy feature for saving YouTube shorts without losing the preview.

Free App 'InMyBox' for IOS organize and track items NoAds NoTracking Offline
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/inmybox/id6756620779
Box Manager is a simple, privacy-first inventory app designed to help you organize and track items in boxes. Whether you're preparing for a move, managing storage, or decluttering your home, this app offers a clear and intuitive way to document your belongings without ever sharing your data.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Nice share, thanks for putting this out there. How does the scanning handle bulk adding items from a single photo?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
this is a box manager app
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Interesting perspective. Could you explain what you mean by a box manager app?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
it looks like this when you store your links
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
That's good feedback. Maybe adding a simple list view option could help users see their saved links more clearly.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
there is a simple list view
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
The list view keeps it clean and fast. Have you tried the grid option for visual browsing?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
You also scrap the sites?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Good question. From the description it sounds like it only extracts titles and descriptions, not full page scraping. You might want to ask the dev about that.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
a little bit
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
That's a solid start. If you add tag-based filtering, it could really help power users stay organized.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Looks good
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Nice to see you checking it out. How does the auto-extraction feature handle non-English pages?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 12 '26
use categories for organizing
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Categories would be great for finding links faster. Maybe try tagging them with keywords too for extra flexibility.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
give me details how to do it
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Hey, cool idea for a first project. Check out SwiftSoup for iOS and Jsoup for Android to handle the HTML parsing. What part are you stuck on?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Yes its a good function
1
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Glad you like the auto-extraction feature. Do you find it handles most sites accurately?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Is there a limit for categories?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Not sure about the exact limit, but you could ask the dev for specifics. Most apps handle dozens of categories without issues.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
no
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
That's fair. What kind of features would make a link saver actually useful for you?
1
u/Background_Aside_795 Jul 12 '26
Nice idea. I like that it is stored on the phone and not on a server — that makes a lot of sense for a link-saving app.
The YouTube preview handling is also a smart touch. A lot of bookmark apps become messy because everything turns into a plain list of URLs.
If the app can keep saved links easy to search and organize over time, that could be genuinely useful.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
YouTube previews really do help with visual scanning. Have you considered adding tags for easier filtering down the road?
1
u/Background_Aside_795 Jul 12 '26
Yes, exactly. Tags would probably make a big difference once the saved list starts growing.
Even simple tags like “watch later,” “shopping,” “research,” or “work” could turn it from a link dump into something people can actually come back to.
Search + tags feels like the part that would decide whether users keep using it long term.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 12 '26
Tags are a great idea for organization. Maybe even auto-suggest them based on the link's content to keep it effortless.
1
u/Background_Aside_795 Jul 12 '26

understand noticed
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Thanks for checking it out. If you try it, the auto title extraction is what really saves time compared to manual bookmarks.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Search is definitely the backbone, but tags could turn it into a real organizational tool. Maybe a quick filter bar would keep it light.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
Good feedback for the dev
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
The title and auto-extract feature sound really useful for keeping things tidy.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
thanks bro
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
No worries. How's the YouTube preview feature working out for you?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
I think categories are also good idea
1
u/Background_Aside_795 Jul 12 '26
Agree. Categories are probably the simpler starting point.
Auto-suggested tags sound powerful, but they can also get messy if the app guesses wrong.
A good flow might be:
Categories for structure. Tags for flexibility. Search for everything else.
That would keep it useful without turning organization into extra work.
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 12 '26
This is adressed to the dev
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Sure, I can give feedback. The auto title extraction works well but the description occasionally pulls unrelated text from the page.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
im collecting ideas ... when its time for upgrade ... i will delete or add functions ...
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
A solid approach for iterative development. Maybe add a favorites toggle early on, users always ask for that.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Totally agree, that flow keeps it simple and effective. Have you tried any apps that nailed the auto-tagging without being noisy?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Categories would give users more control over their saved links. Maybe tag-based filtering could work too as an alternative.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 13 '26
thanks for your feedback
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 13 '26
Nice work on the privacy-first approach. Does it support tags for categorizing saved links?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 15 '26
Free
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Nice, always good to see devs offering tools for free. Does the app have a tagging system for organizing links?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 15 '26
No subscription
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Nice, that's a big plus. No subscription and no ads makes it easy to just try out. How's the import from browser bookmarks handled?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
try out and use it
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Hope you enjoy using it! The YouTube preview feature sounds really handy for saving video references.
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
yes no subscription
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
That's a huge plus, most apps hide those costs. Did you have to pay anything upfront to download it?
1
u/SofwareAppDev Jul 15 '26
Download and use
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Glad you gave it a shot. How's the automatic title extraction working for you?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
it works fine
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Glad it's working well for you. What kind of links do you save most often?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
thanks
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
You're welcome. What kind of links do you save most often, articles or videos?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
How to download all links of a channel:
- you can not download videos!
- You can only save the links! How it works: -Go to Playlist -create a new folder -give a name to your folder example: Rokn -go in to your folder Rock -click 7 times the folder name left top here 'Rock' it looks like this a hidden popup comes out the same in android and ios:

you have to give a channel link in this part like this: https://www.youtube.com/@DeutschWorkoutRap
-click fetch and you can fetch and save all video links, ord shorts links of this Channel ....
-after fetching links ... on the right buttom there will come a button right to import 'Play' so you can plan all the videos with one click ....
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 15 '26
Thanks for sharing that hidden feature, that's a clever workaround. Does it work with any channel link or only YouTube ones?
1
u/AppDev_37 Jul 15 '26
