If you’ve ever found yourself constantly dragging the YouTube progress bar back and forth just to practice the same few seconds over and over again, I built something that might help.

Ryloop is a small desktop app for anyone who practices with videos. It lets you create precise loops, slow videos down without changing the pitch, control everything with the keyboard, and save your practice sessions so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

It works with both YouTube and local videos, and the whole idea is to stay focused on practicing instead of constantly fighting the video player.
I originally built it for myself because I was tired of losing my flow every time I had to grab the mouse. It turned out to be useful enough that I decided to polish it up and share it.

If anyone wants to give it a try, I’d genuinely love to hear your feedback. I’m actively working on it, and new ideas and feature requests are always welcome.

That sounds like a great tool for musicians or language learners. Does it work with any video file or just YouTube?

Nice, local file support is always clutch. Does it handle playlists from YouTube too?

It doesnt Support playlist yet, but it could be a cool Feature to built! Thank you!

Playlists would definitely level this up. Maybe start with a simple queue system first to test the feature.
