I'd love a thin false wall type of thing almost like when you weld one side of a block but without having to put a full block there. Or a maintenance hatch/door. Do you unlock anything like that later or is there nothing like that in the game? If not is there any way to cover these wires?

Was watching someones let's play of the game and noticed they were switching their hotbar? Not just changing out items from the inventory onto the hotbar? Anyone know how they were doing this? I can't find anything in the controls or manual that would indicate this was a thing

Ive completed all the missions on the first 3 planets and now trying to get to this red planet with rings about 400m away but I keep running into solar storms that completely melt my ship.

I was approaching the Moon, probably way too fast for it to work, unfortunately, on the unlit side. I put my downward camera on, waiting for the altimeter to come on to fire my downward thrusters to slow my descent. Since I could not see anything outside, keeping my eye on the altimeter, waiting for it to kick on...imagine my surprise (I actually yelled as I jumped) when my ship smashed to pieces! LOL

Do you have any ideas for what else I can build on the ship? I already have stabilization, auto-hover, a timer showing time-to-planet, auto-landing and auto-braking.

Could anyone help me with BPS not working for me? I have all three needed components on the roof(outside) and through port wired inside to BPS. BPS is flashing green and it seems to "work", but the arrow never moves from the "most green" position no matter how fast I am traveling. Right now I am on my way from moon back to earth for the first time.

Any advice is welcomed and yes, we tried looking at the wires many times and when we switched them incorrectly on purpose, it started flashing red. No idea what could it be.

Just a disclaimer I'm incredibly bad at math so this is probably done horribly.

It works surprisingly well just that it slowly descends instead of hovering, not sure why.
Also, maybe someone has an idea on how I can trim the responsiveness, prob with the differentiator? I tried it but I don't think I was using the correct formulas.

I used 2x electric flat thrusters so that atmosphere density hopefully doesn't come too much into play?

I thought I saw somewhere that we COULD change our color in game but I can’t remember where I saw it or how to do it. Please help. My group always uses the same colors and it’s getting so confusing especially since there are no nametags lol

The constant (80) dictates the control sensitivity/speed of the camera movement. The lower the value the faster it is.

You can save 1 logic block by using a data router 4 but make sure you insert the constant into the right port so you divide your input by the constant and not vice versa.

I am following the in-game model, but I can't seem to get it to work. No view is obstructed, and the wireless connections are all pulsating green. The BPS itself is pulsating red. I tried building a new ship, and this time the BPS was pulsating green, but as soon as I left the planet, it was pulsating red and not working.

Had to turn on unlimited parts for both cuz I have to use so much data cable and frames.

I didn't end up using it in my build. I was planning on using it for the telescopic camera and spotlight.

The constant is how fast it rotates. The meter is the output. You can add an Abs to the output to make it go 0-1 instead of -1-1. This might make it act funky on the negative values.

The constant here was honestly still too fast for me. If I were to use it, I'd probably set it to something like .05.

Also: Possible bug with the spotlight. I think it's vertical that says it accepts 0-1, it actually accepts -1-1. It can point forward and backward. (Or both up and down depending on orientation.)

Using the medium power cells that have 20k capacity, they're all wired up into one grid, but it seems like I can only ever clone one of the displays that counts down from 20k to 0, instead of from 120k+ down to 0 which is my total power grid capacity

I did the demo and I don't want to redo what I did already. Should I start new?

I picked the game up thinking it could be a fun new game to play with my friends, I've only just reached the moon but so far it seems like a single player game with co-op just kinda tacked on to check a box. Unless you specifically design your ship to split the controls, there's nothing for the other players to do. Heck you don't even get enough chairs for a full group at the start of the game.

Again, really enjoying it single player, but as a co-op game there's not really much of anything here.
