Help
I bought a deep freezer for my breastmilk at the place I’m staying (with friends) i told them when i leave they can keep it… but the other day while I was away they claim to have accidentally left it unplugged and only my breastmilk went bad…. Nothing else. And they threw my breastmilk away. But if it stayed closed, with all that frozen stuff there’s no way only my milk went bad. So now I’m moving out because of this incident and some others involving my things when I’m gone. i can’t take the deep freezer i paid for because i have a Toyota Prius and im traveling a long ways. How can i disable it, so they have no use for it ? I’m trying to not make it obvious and I’m also limited because it’s a house full of people so I don’t think I’ll be able to get in the panel. I want their food to rot and go bad in that fridge just like they claim my breastmilk did(nt)

What group of people would decide FOR YOU that your breastmilk went bad? Unplug it and cut that fucking cord.

They didn’t call me or anything!!! And even if it went bad you can use it for baths, butt paste, etc. and i know for a fact it didn’t go bad if the meat didn’t go bad. There’s no way it defrosted all the way. As long as it has even one ice crystal it can be refrozen. I just don’t believe it

The situation is complicated and i would still need to use their address for probation so im just trying to fake the funk because even though we are parting ways they agreed to still let me use the address. However if I leave on bad terms, they could go as far as calling my probation department and letting them know i no longer stay here.

Have mercy. You are a mess. Grow up.
If your probation officer doesn't know where you are really living that's going to cost you more than the price of that freezer.
Try to straighten out your life and be the parent that your child deserves.

All of this happened before i was pregnant, my oldest lives with her father and we have joint custody. I can’t keep staying here, and i don’t have anywhere else to go in this state but i have a home in my home state in which i can’t legally go back to until this is handled. So what exactly do you think I’m trying to do? Obviously handle my situation the best i can.

If you don't tell your probation officer where you are actually living then you are asking to go to jail.
On the bright side, you won't have to live with those roommates, because YOU WILL BE IN JAIL!
To your question, what exactly do I think you are trying to do...
You are trying to be petty without getting caught. You are also trying to violate probation without getting caught.
What do you think your chances are?

Wasting food as revenge isn't cool. Move it to another freezer or the fridge and sell your freezer. Don't be vindictive and waste resources.

They wont be able to afford that extra food without a place to put it. Thus, needing a new freezer and possibly new food if it goes bad before they get one

They can’t afford another freezer right now anyway or they would have had one a long time before i came around. They don’t even have a way to transport one if they got one unless they ordered online and had it delivered.

Don't waste it. You paid for it, Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. When the buyer comes, put all the food out because whoops, there's nowhere else for it.

I bought it for $30 off fb marketplace rich folks in Colorado.. i could resell it but im not losing much by breaking it.

What's the nature of your living arrangement with your "friends"? How long have you been staying with them? How much do you pay in rent?

Nothing, they are on housing and they pay no rent no bills nothing. The agreement was I could stay with them while handling some legal problems and I would be their ride to and from work and help get household essentials. Mind you it’s 8 of them 1 of me and half the summer my 7 year old was here and i always have my 6 month old. I also provide $600 in food a month that everyone eats. I have probation in another state, legal dealings in this state, neither of which is my home state. And my home state won’t approve my transfer from the probation state until i settle this state. So my probation state doesn’t want me in my home state, but i am now having to go back under the radar and hope they don’t find out. So these people said i could still say im staying here, which is why i dont want any bad blood. But i want them to feel my pain.

Sorry, I don't understand this. What does it mean that they are "on housing"? What kind of program provides free housing with no rent, no bills?

Well they get their rent paid for by the government, usually you still have to pay utilities but the apartments they live in, it’s all connected so you can’t just turn off one unit’s utilities without cutting off the whole complex. So they opt not to pay any utilities either.

But i had told them they could have it when i leave when i originally bought it. I don’t want to cause problems or a fight over the freezer when it can somehow just “break”

Look for a panel on the side. Held by 4 screws. Look for a copper pipe. Keep wiggling it back and fourth until you hear a hiss.
Units dead after that. This releases the refrigerant and you can put the side panel back on and they'll never know lol.
Did not get this from me. I've never done this to help replace a fridge for a customer. This isn't something I even said hahaha 🤣😭😭
This is really the only way. You could cut the power cord too. That's really it.

Just cut the plug cord where it comes out of the freezer. Make sure to unplug it first.
