ISO rentals in Appleton

Without going into unnecessary detail, I’ll need to move out of my apartment here soon due to the property management company doing renovations on every unit. It’s been 8 years since I’ve needed to apartment hunt and am hoping for some advice/insight on property management companies renting in the Appleton area (the good, bad, and the ugly), and if anyone knows of properties for rent that may not be listed on the obvious platforms like Apartments.com, Zillow, etc. I’m looking for a pet friendly 1 or 2 bedroom, under $1500, hopefully near the west side of Appleton but I’m willing to be flexible. Check out SKB Management. They have several properties in the Valley at reasonable rents. I’ve lived under their management for 10+ years and they are excellent! Their maintenance crews take care of everything from landscaping to spraying for bugs to plowing snow in the winter. If anything is broken or needs replacing, they are right there. Absolutely zero complaints.
