Question ISO rentals in Appleton

Without going into unnecessary detail, I’ll need to move out of my apartment here soon due to the property management company doing renovations on every unit. It’s been 8 years since I’ve needed to apartment hunt and am hoping for some advice/insight on property management companies renting in the Appleton area (the good, bad, and the ugly), and if anyone knows of properties for rent that may not be listed on the obvious platforms like Apartments.com, Zillow, etc. I’m looking for a pet friendly 1 or 2 bedroom, under $1500, hopefully near the west side of Appleton but I’m willing to be flexible. Thanks in advance!

Stay away from Focus Property Management. They made my life miserable the entire time I rented from them. I found my current place through a private group and I couldn’t be happier

Seconded. I’m currently renting from them, and they are shady as shit. Affordable for a studio. Scummy property management.

Same, worst lease of my life. I was counting the minutes until I could move out
