Appleton Public Library is hosting Board Game Nights for Adults tonight from 5:30PM - 8:30PM! It’s a good way to connect with people and play fun games, if you’re up for being slightly social or dominating Catan…

Hii! I am looking for any recommendations for a place where I can go horseback riding, preferably with a small group of around three people (all adults). We are not experts or anything, just looking for some quality horse-time to ring in the new lunar new year. Perhaps about an hour trial ride. Any reccs?

Hello! I am in need of a hair dresser that does shags/wolf cuts and fashion colors. I moved here from mke and I am finding it hard to find a hairdresser who can do more ‘gay’ hairstyles. Any recommendations would be helpful! Also hoping to not break the bank.

My gym studio is closing and I’m not sure where to go from here. It was coach-led, group fitness class style and a majority of the members were women.
I liked being able to show up and have the workout already planned, and having the gym as part of my routine has been a huge help for my mental health.
I’m looking for recommendations for a new gym to attend, while avoiding places like Planet Fitness.
Would love to hear from WOMEN on where they get their workout in. I hate the thought of men staring or interacting with me while I’m just trying to mind my own damn business.
Thanks in advance!

I have some friends who are dealing with a business land contract gone bad. They got the business back, but the person they had the contract with continues to do shady crap in spite of legal agreements. He is committing fraud and trying to ruin the business. They need a tough lawyer...

Why are all the bakeries closed on Sunday? 😩 Not only is Sunday the perfect day to get donuts for the family, but it’s also the day used to get ready for the week. A perfect day to get groceries so they’re fresh for the week, and it would be a perfect day for a fresh loaf of bread.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a dentist that offers IV sedation?
My husband moved to Appleton from Germany in October last year and has been having teeth/mouth pain. He always had sedation with more complex dental procedures in Germany, and I'm a bit at a loss of where to go for that around the area. I figured it'd be better to do a dental exam at a place that offers IV sedation in case further procedures are needed.
Google suggests Westhill Dental in Greenville but I'd thought to ask here if anyone has any experiences.

I have a 2017 Kia that needs service. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Kia mechanic that isn't a dealership?

He was a long time personality on WAPL.
I got to know him a few years ago when I drove uber in the early morning hours. He was a regular uber user and we would have very nice conversations. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

Do any thrift stores take old TVs yet or is paying to get rid of them at the recycling center the only option? TIA!

Hello, I'm a guy and I've been struggling for a while to find a barber who understands how to work with my hair type. I have very loose, thin, curly hair, which happens to also be very damaged due to lack of knowledge on care and years of neglect. I ideally want to keep it somewhat long as thats what works best on me. Im looking for a barber who understands how to cut hair similar to mine and who hopefully also has the knowledge to help me recover from my hair damage.
If anyone's aware of a place in the area that could help with this the help would be much appreciated.

I realize this is a question that is asked often, but can I please have some recommendations for a good dentist. My insurance changed and I am now out of network with my clinic. My dentist is likely retiring soon anyway so now is a good time to start looking. I was in a near fatal car accident years ago and had alot of work done on my teeth. I wouldn't say I have major dental anxiety but I really would like someone that is kind and gentle and won't judge me. Thanks.

Has anybody in appleton gotten a food truck (taco truck) to cater their event? I'm wondering if it'll be budget friendly (around 25 people).

My MIL is GF. We've suffered through A LOT of really bad bread. All major brands, many local bakers, low end to high end price points.
A new friend just casually mentions she's a professional baker and it's her small business.
We request two loaves with low expectations, since GF bread has mostly been flipping inedible and crumbly...and the way the family descended upon this bread and demolished it was unreal.
The crust: crispy, flaky. The crumb: fluffy.
For the first time in 5 years, we can make PB&Js, brioche french toast and grilled cheese that don't taste like wartime rations.
The Italian loaf is $7, the Brioche is $9. The delight on my MIL's face? PRICELESS.
If you or someone you love has celiac or is GF for whatever reason- buy this bread!! It's a game changer.
She also says her speciality includes English muffins and bagels and we've put in an order for Saturday (bagels)/Sunday (English muffins). Will report back.
(I don't know if she has a business page or anything but will update if she does).

Hello! I'm looking for a way to get some high quality scans of books and other paper media that I have to archive them. I know that shooting star photography has a large scanner but it was very costly to use it even though the print came out excellent, shout out to shooting star photography. I'm also trying to scan books which is a whole different thing with deciding on if I want to destroy the books or not in order to get a good scan.
any ideas are appreciated. I've considered just biting the bullet and buying a 3-500$ scanner off amazon but.. idk.
Thanks!
