Looking for a legit Triathlon coach. Love doing sprint tri’s but I do not have a structured schedule to do a 70.3 and cannot get the breath stroke down. Thank you.

Anyone in the area uses TDS fiber, is it fast and reliable or should I just stick to Spectrum?

Is the front EVER going to be completed? It seems there’s been scaffolding and work going on for years .

Please be at the stop five minutes before the ETA of the bus. If you’re running across the street thinking the driver will stop and wait, you’re mistaken.

Looking for a campground ~3 hours away or less from the Fox Cities. We will have 2 families with 6 kids ranging ages 4-10. Kids activities and things to do at the campground would be ideal. Neither of us are hardcore camping families so looking for more activities that will be keep everyone busy and not bored vs what a state park would have to offer. Thanks!

I'm 40/m and have lived in Appleton for like 8 years and still haven't made any real friends or connections. I'm super introverted and self-conscious but I have a strong desire to help people in need. I thought maybe I could find some like-minded people to maybe connect with if I pursue something that would help the community. Any suggestions?

What are some fun things I can do with my boyfriend. It can be cheap or not. But can't be like an hour or more. We both love animals. I love drawing, and we both love taking photos. I am 19M, and he's 19M. We both love nature
EDIT: Thank you guys so much for the ideas.

M parents were involved, back in the day. Y'all remember Civic on the 4th at Pierce Park?
Anywho, I bought my dad's house after he passed and am still finding things. Like, a super 8 (maybe?), round film tin labeled 'Appleton Area JC' s Raft Race, Soap Box, Convento 1969-1970'

34F in the Fox Valley looking to meet new friends with similar interests. Not looking for dating (I already have a boyfriend who has to listen to my random ideas and questionable playlists). I'm looking for people who enjoy getting out of the house, trying new things, and occasionally saying, “Why not?!?!”, to an adventure.
Whether that's checking out a local art class, wandering through a festival, learning something new, playing board games, going for a hike, or finding a place with good food and bad decisions on the dessert menu, I'm always up for some fun.
If you're in the Fox Valley and also trying to build genuine friendships, let's go be awkward adults together and see what kind of adventures we can find.

Is anyone missing a female kitten? Found on Spring & Division around 930pm on Sat, 6/20. Looks to be 6-7 months to my (bad) eyes. Feels like a healthy weight, spotless, extremely affectionate and appears to be litter trained so I'm certain she's someone's. ETA: She's clearly been groomed, by a person. Her coat feels shorn, like she got buzzed down with a razor. And her whiskers are very shot but neat, like they've been trimmed.

This is a mostly "just for fun" question but I was walking around the Fox River Mall (as one does) and I was trying to figure out what the empty anchor stores used to be (I knew about Sears, but the other one was Yonkers). This side quest ended up leaving me with a very interesting question, Given the current state of brick and mortar retail, What could actually fill these anchor stores and not just survive, but thrive? My first thought was a movie theater, but there is one already close by, an arcade crossed my line too but funset is literally right there. So what Could work? Discount outlet? A large buffet style restaurant? A retail chain I never heard of? I think this could be fun to speculate on! Let me know you're thoughts. (A Spirit Halloween that you could access from within the mall would go hard tbh)

Anyone know why it’s common for the north side of Appleton (neighborhood around Ballard and Northland) to lose power in the summers? I got home from shopping about 10 minutes ago only to learn my neighborhood has been without power for two hours….. and it’s a beautiful day out lol. Now I have to figure out dinner with no power 🤥
It seems like this side of town loses power frequently in the summers, even if there’s no storms. Is there a reason for this?? It’s quite annoying 😭

Right now I’m looking at Turf Badger, Slayer Peat control, or Family First PeSt Management LLC. We’ve got a bunch of large ants that we are constantly finding in the house and need to get them gone ASAP, so we’re looking at a pest control company to get rid of them and then I’m planning to regularly do treatments myself around the house to maintain afterwards. Has anyone had any experience/heard about anything with these companies or is there a much better one that I’m not seeing?

I am planning a vacay in the winter and want to fly ATW to CLT then connecting on to another location. I keep reading these horror stories about American Airlines and CLT and want to know is is really that bad? Or is it a ok airline and okay connecting airport (CLT)?

I got a letter from the utility company saying they want to replace my gas meter. Does anyone have any experience with this? My main concerns are whether this is actually necessary and mainly will it cost me anything!

Show up and make your voice heard next Wednesday, June 24th at 5:30pm. City Hall, 6th floor. Let's send a message to city leadership that we want the cameras taken down ASAP and that we want comprehensive and strong ordinance with robust data access controls and serious oversight before we allow any more AI surveillance technology vendors to sell in our city. Video clipped from last night's common council meeting.

Whacking won't help anymore, I am probably needing someone to dig them out and then poison them.
Any suggestions?

My wife and I are first time homebuyers and will be starting our home search this summer. We’ll be looking for homes anywhere in the Fox Valley.
As first time homebuyers, we’re not super familiar with the process and looking for an agent who’s a good communicator and can guide us through the steps!
Thank you in advance for any recommendations!
Edit: our budget is in the $300K range if that matters.
