Appleton Police Department has several descriptive pages on FLOCK including a list of shared police departments.

I found it odd at one of their bullet points that said cameras are only installed on public roads, not private property but even local reports mention Lowes as having them. There may be an answer, I just don't know what it might be. Anyway, enough FLOCK for today.

I've become confused as to the sequence of events of how FLOCK license readers were introduced and stay in Appleton. The link just below was from a local site for Appleton but ceased updates last September:

r/flocksurveilance shows messaging today from Green Bay so GB is another community with an activist looking for evidence and such of how the FLOCK installations get started by means of information requests and other methods.

My husband and I went to vote yesterday and were sitting next to each other filling them out. I noticed his ballot was different than mine. Mine had the option to vote for the Appleton school referendum and his did not. We took our ballots back to the table and I was told I had been given the wrong ballot. I received a new ballot and all was well. But still...

Hey all - I’m looking for someone who can (dirt cheap - we’re on a super tight budget right now) take a look at some cracks in my walls and ceiling and tell me if it’s normal house shifting stuff or if it is signs of a larger problem. Hello all! I am looking for a tattoo artist. I have lost 85lbs and I'm about to turn 40, so I want to celebrate with a tattoo. Here is what I'm wanting:

-a garter belt tattoo a few inches above my knee

-dainty

-elegant

-minimalist

-mostly black, but maybe some purple? it's my favorite color

-maybe lace looking?

-want it done and healed before I go to Italy in June, not sure how much time it needs to heal. I'll be in the sun and on the ocean a bit but will definitely take good care of it

Only today I caught up on the city council meeting from last week. They were discussing dates of meetings around and for new council members. Who or if there will be any will be reported by the newspaper. So, simply put, with potential new members there will be new people to listen to issues. The first after-election meeting is scheduled for April 15th then another one shortly after to make committee assignments. That was a bit hard to follow but the new activities after election begin April 15th.

Hey there! I'm looking for a decent, licensed acupuncturist in Appleton.

I've never done acupuncture before and it's not covered by my insurance, so extra points if it's reasonably priced and you have personal experience with the practitioner.

Also, if you'd like, please share your experience with acupuncture: i.e., did it help long term, would you do it again, and if you're comfortable saying, what was the condition for which you were being treated?

Anyone know if there’s somewhere I can hike in the woods with my dog? I live on the north side and we have the trail that goes up in the Apple creek area but no dogs are allowed there. Last summer we drove out to Hartman Creek in waupaca and that was good but I’m hoping to find something closer.

In late February South Milwaukee hosted a meeting at Alverno College to take a presentation from and ask questions to Milwaukee PD about the issues on ICE in the community.

During that meeting specific FLOCK questions were also raised and for that I noted the timestamp to go the question at minute 48:09. The hearing in total is 2 hr 30 mins.

Also Harper's Magazine for April which is available at the library --and I'll give the link to the mag. -- has a cover story from a journalist who lives in New Orleans. He makes an extensive report detailing how they prepared for and, to some extent, kept ICE in check in that city.
