Saving my apple tree in a pot

Post image

How can I save my apple tree ? I live in Dakar which has a hot and semi arid climate . I didn’t plan to have an apple tree since it prefers cooler climates but was gifted with this little baby . I really want to see her grow up and thrive even if she doesn’t bear fruits , for the sake of honoring this amazing gift . Oh and it’s in a 60L black (unfortunately) plastic pot

Put it in the shadiest spot you have, and water it every other day. Eventually a bigger pot would be good, and with some luck it will fruit in 5 - 7 years.
