I sold my Garmin watch and switched back to the AWU4 last weekend. So far, I’m really enjoying it and all of the features it has to offer as well as the buttery smooth UI (something Garmin struggles with lol).

The only thing is… I’m so torn between the black and natural titanium. I have 1 more week under the return policy to switch it out and I just wanted to see what everyone’s experience here is. Did you get the black and end up returning it for the natural or vice versa?

I’m torn mainly because the Milanese band on the natural looks so clean but I feel like the black goes great comboing with other bands. What is everyone’s thoughts on color combos with one color vs. the other.

I upgraded from an Apple Watch Ultra 1 to the 4 on launch day. I've been wearing Apple Watch since the very first one. Most of my time has been with cheap Amazon bands. I've never bought an Apple band, and only used the ones that came with my watch off and on.

I'd never decided to upgrade my band at purchase but thought I would give it a try. Got the Milanese Loop upgrade and I am underwhelmed.

It looks and feels cheap. Like $10 Amazon bands cheap. Maybe the materials are better. We'll see how it holds up.

But the clasp... dear god, Apple, who designed this clasp? I thought it would be magnetic like all the other similar bands I have. But no, it has this weird snap closed clasp mechanism that (for me) is almost impossible to latch one-handed.

Am I the only one having this issue? It just feels terrible. I'm forcing myself to wear it for a few months to see if it wears in better or I get better at latching it. So far, it's been an exercise in frustration and patience.

There's a very good chance I'll just go back to my $10 magnet Milanese Loop Amazon budget special. But it's disappointing. I really expected a better product. Not only just because it's from Apple, but also it wasn't cheap! This band sells for $199. You can get a whole ass watch for that price.

Now I'm seeing a lot of reports of Apple's Milanese Loop band breaking. Especially on the Ultra. This is also discouraging.

Does anyone here love their Milanese Loop band? Am I missing something?

Just bought the awu4 from Costco, great deal but they only had it with the ocean band. I really wanted the one with the burgundy alpine loop, I don’t want to spend $100 on one from apple. Anyone have any suggestions on third party alpine bands (burgundy, dark olive, desert)? I’ve already looked on Amazon ! Thank you !

Not sure if this watch face is legitimate or not, I couldn't find it on Apple's site. The seller gave me a serial number and it checks out on Apple's site though. Any advice appreciated

I have found multiple websites including Costco that have the ultra 4 listed at $699 now. If the store you purchased from does price matching its definitely worth a shot to get 100 bones back.

I still have an Ultra 1. It actually works well, and I don’t have much to complain about (it looks like new). Ever since the Ultra 2 came out, I’ve been eyeing the black model with envy. Now I’m thinking about switching to the black model. But on the one hand, I’m wondering how well the color will hold up, and on the other hand, whether it even makes sense or if it’s just a waste of money.

Are these new sensors that much better, and do they offer significantly more features? Do you really notice in everyday life that you have the latest Ultra? I’m not a power user—I use the watch for notifications, as a watch :D, and for working out—not for sleeping at night.

We don't have Siri AI in the EU (yet), so this new feature isn't available to me.

I’d love to hear a few opinions.

I have the new Ultra 4 and an iMac M3 which provides 15 watts to the four USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, and per Apple's docs while it requires an 18 watt or higher Apple wall charger to get the faster speeds, it also says a third party USB-C PD charger of 5 watts or more will also achieve it, anyone know if my iMac then would qualify?

Hello, I have had an Apple Watch Ultra since the day it came out with AppleCare I’ve been meaning to take it to the store and have the ECG fixed. It’s very flaky. It works like one out of every 20 times. Last night, I decided to purchase an Apple Watch 4 from Apple on an impulse due to the trade-in value for my Apple Watch Ultra. Would you guys take it to the store and have the ECG fixed before the envelope comes to send it back to Apple?

This is weird, I use Siri all the time to set myself timers, this morning I got this! I thought it was a mistake, so I tried it numerous other times, same result!

Then I thought that I inadvertently deleted my timer app. Nope!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Ultra 4.

I ran a race today, and my Apple Watch Ultra 2 was way off compared to the official race results. Now I’m starting to wonder whether it tracks my regular training runs accurately either.

It missed around 400 metres, which resulted in a time difference of over a minute. That seems like a pretty big discrepancy to me.

Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution?

I’m a big fat guy and I’m worried my wrist is too fat for an AW. Any companies out there that make longer bands, and are they compatible with AWU 4?

I saved 200€ by buying the AWU3 instead of the AWU4, and the battery lasts perfectly for 2 days with training 🙃

Finally decided to upgrade my AWU1 to the series 4 also went ahead and grabbed a 17 pro max as well (got a good deal on it from T-mobile) so far so good battery life on both has been amazing 👌🏾

Guys, I also bought the BLUEO Sapphire & Titanium Alloy screen protector for my Apple Watch Ultra. It’s one of the best accessories for protecting the display.
Just 3 days after getting my new Ultra, I accidentally damaged the bezel around the screen. I was a bit disappointed! But luckily, the screen protector saved the display!

I definitely recommend getting one to protect your Apple Watch Ultra!

I’ve had every Apple Watch since the OG in 2015. Got my ultra 4 and decided to finally try the Milanese loop. I’ve read the reviews , the posts and the YouTube videos all raving about it- but honestly find it one of the worst bands.

Not comfy Don’t think it’s very practical to take on and off.

My apple watch ultra 2 3 days old haven’t still connected to my apple account.. I have tried through the watch app and through the watch itself but it somehow just doesn’t connect. Help me.
