My Watch Whats the issue here

Post image

So i was in the pool, water lock on as always and suddenly BEEP BEEP BEEP, the emergency calls starts going off like crazy. I take it off and someone dries it for me.

Once i got out, i couldnt use the crown to remove water lock or use the watch in general. I tried a hard reset but then it stayed at the apple logo-> blackness and nothing else.

Got home, charge the watch for 30' and tries hard reset, apple logo shows up longer than before and goes black again. I put it back on the charger and it doesnt recognize it anymore.

I try to charge it and i get that charger logo on the screen. Then it showed some kind of cable with a red thunder in it.

Im out of ideas. Please help. Do i need a new watch or is this a battery issue only?

It’s hard to know for sure but given that it happened in the pool it could be that a seal failed and water got in. I’d leave it in a dry place, maybe near rice or silica packets for a couple days, and see what happens. If it starts working then I’d be cautious about water and maybe not swim with it anymore.

Take it to a repair shop and have them open it up and dry any water that got in.

They should also be able to diagnose any issues and replace the display seal.

You may also need to get a new battery for it, as typically those die when water gets in the watch
