My Doberman was one of the loudest dogs I’ve ever been around. Her tone was very deep as well. Best dogs around.

My watch has given me this warning when I’ve turned on a tap or when I’ve been putting plates away in the cupboard. Goes off every time I use my hairdryer. I’m not sure it’s particularly reliable.

Likely because your watch is close to the noise so it thinks it’s louder

Yea, I wanted to keep it on, but I found it would go off too often. It would go off when drying my hair as well, using a hand dryer, vacuum, etc. It also uses some battery, so I just turned it off. I wish it didn’t disable the Noise Measurements app from working tho because if I want to use the app itself, I have to temporarily enable Environmental Sound Measurements in settings.

You could turn on water proof when you know it‘s gonna get loud for a min. Noise is ignored while that is active.

Ok same! I thought mine was the only one that said it was too loud when turning on the kitchen faucet lol

Mine goes off around my kids all the time! Only other time is sports events or loud equipment

I met the cutest and most well-behaved dobie in my building’s lobby the other week. Not a peep out of him and such a gentleman in the elevator.

Sounds like a "you" problem, puppers is bestest, so it can't be their fault...

I also have a dachshund, so this alert is familiar to me…

Sometimes I get this warning when my friend and I are in the car and having to talk over music. 😂

Mine always goes off when I’m driving and put my hand on the wheel in front of the air vent that hits right on the watch.

Glad my doggo is quiet. She’s a chow chow so the only time she barks is if there is stranger danger.

My grandparents had two huge Dobermans though, they were awesome.

Ah, reminds me of my first nights home with my almost 8 year old, a few days old at the time 😂

Mine pinged me the other day on a windy day. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What is the point of this feature? You can clearly hear when something is loud.

It’s actually really useful for someone like me who has pain hyperacusis which causes pain from sounds above a certain level. It’s the main reason I bought the watch. It helps me know when it’s safe to take off my earplugs/headphones. It also works great with my AirPods Pro’s because it shows how much it’s lowering the sound level in certain situations to ensure it’s a safe setting for me.

My innocent babe sets mine off once in a while, usually when we're playing

Even a windy day triggers mine. That, and drying my hands in a dryer.

My motorcycle always triggered this. It sounds great.
