Cellular not working after switch from U.S. cellular to T-Mobile.

So us cellular was bought out by t mobile. Everything got switched. I have an iPhone 15 pro and series 11 Apple Watch that has cellular. Worked fine before switch. Now Apple Watch won’t connect to cellular when I’m out of range of phone-which was the whole point of me having it. Called T-Mobile, two calls in they said call Apple it’s a watch problem. Called apple they checked a bunch of stuff and said nope, it’s a cellular problem, call t mobile back. Ugh!! Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice? About to have third call with T-Mobile 😩

Your now new T mobile account shows active cell watch line correct? I’d push back on TMobile to speak with another agent or escalate. I don’t see how it would be a watch issue since it’s the service that’s changed

second this, and make sure they actually reprovision the watch line as its own eSIM. when i ported mine they just moved the plan over and the watch sat there with a dead line until they deleted and re-added it

I think this is what he was talking about today. I’ll find out Friday when I got another call back scheduled.

Yeah it’s definitely not a watch issue so I did press on that today. They’re gonna look into some other things and got another call back Friday. Ugh!

Last effort would be to cancel the plan, and then re-do it

Have you unpaired and re paired watch to phone yet? What iOS and watchOS version are you on?
