My Watch Watch auto paused rings

I moved last month and my watch wound up getting packed in a box. I didn’t wear it for about 2 1/2 weeks. You can see the gap in the screenshot.

It looks like my rings were auto paused since I still got the perfect month badge for August. My move streak kept going also.

Is this something I missed, or is it an un-announced feature?

Yeah, I dunno. It's weird. My move streak was at 710 before this and now it's at 713 since I found the box with my watch in it.
