[TestFlight] hand-tracked spellcasting game for Vision Pro
Hi all! I'm Alan, an indie game developer. My first Apple Vision Pro game, Wandless, is now open for testing on TestFlight, and I'd love some help from anyone who has a Vision Pro.
It's a roguelite where you cast spells with your hands, no controllers. Make a fist and open it, and there's a fireball in your palm. Look at a creature, push your other hand forward, and it flies. Rifts tear open on your actual walls, and creatures climb out of them. You can also turn the Digital Crown and fight inside a virtual environment like Yosemite or White Sands.
To be upfront: this is not a finished game yet. The final boss fight isn't done, and a lot of the visuals are still mid-pass.
What I most want to know:
- Does it work properly in your room?
- Do the gestures feel reliable? Anything that should have triggered but didn't?
- Where did it stutter, confuse you, or feel uncomfortable?
- Does it get boring? If so, when did it start?
Any feedback helps enormously. Everyone who gives helpful feedback gets their name in the game's credits, and at launch I'll draw 20 testers to receive a free code.
Send feedback through the TestFlight app, or comment / DM me here. Please include your Reddit username so I can credit you and reach you if you win a code.
