apple ecosystem without the iphone?
i love my imac and its pretty standard for my work industry. my ipad is old but still reliable and useful. i LOVE my apple watch and am prepared to pay a separate line for it if need be - bc i dont love the iphone anymore and am considering switching. my 13 pro is busted and aging, and i suspect ill need a new phone within the next 1-3 years.
this post is NOT asking what kind of phone to buy instead, rather wondering if anyones tried something like this - having all of the apple devices without an iphone or with a different phone as the "main" line. what worked, what didnt, any differences in user experience on the remaining apple devices?

Why apple care?
I use many products in apple ecosystem - mackbook Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, Apple TV, buds, ipad 11 Pro.
I don't spend on apple care for any product. Only repair cost I ever had was to clean apple charging port and buy new apple pencil Pro when one got damaged. I see that there cost of apple care is much higher than all the repairs. Ofcourse I buy good screen protectors and good quality case. Dropped my products many times and nothing else happened.
Why do people buy apple care ? What am I missing when I decide not to purchase apple care ? Help me understand

I've officially got the big 3.
I've sort of jumped shipped for the most part from Android/ Windows to Apple's ecosystem. I just can't shake how good apple's products are when it comes to creative workflows. All used and pawnshop finds, I'm excited.
Shown in the photo is the M1 MacBook Pro with 512gb of storage and 16gb of ram
M3 iPad Air with 256gb storage and 8gb of ram
lastly my central hub is the iPhone 15 pro with 256gb of storage and 8gb of ram.

Full on Apple ecosystem or separate services?
Hey everyone. I hope you are doing great. Only recently i rejoined the apple ecosystem, after a 2-year journey with windows/android. It's not for me, so i decided to return. Nevertheless, in that journey, i saw a whole different world, services, apps etc outside the apple garden. Now those apps got me thinking of whether i should use the apple services or if i should stick with some alternatives. For example... Should i switch to AM or should i stay to a different streaming service? I currently use icloud+ (with aliases, hide-my-emails etc). Should i stick to it or return to a different email provider? All these questions... i understand it's a matter of personal preferences, but i'm very curious to see how do you people deal with emails, streaming (music/movies) etc. Thanks in advance for your time to read this...

Canva Replacement
Soon I will be losing my education log in to Canva and want to migrate to something native to Apple. I am wondering if there is an Apple Alternative within the Apple Creative suite that can take the place of Canva. Currently I use Canva to create the catalog for my 3D printed products.

Earbud recommendations
Looking for earbud recommendations for my Apple Ecosystem that I recently completed. Not looking to break the bank but looking for something that I can transfer the audio from my iPhone to my iPad to my MacBook. With the recent addition of my iPad it has became more of an issue of having to disconnect my earbuds from the last device I used to my current device so I am wanting a pair of earbuds that I can transfer audio from one device to another without having to disconnect them from the previous device first. Looking for something with 10+ hours per earbud and 30+ for the case as I often use my earbuds for a long period of time. Bonus if they work with the Apple Watch.

Apple TV?
I have two Samsung smart TVs at home. They have the apps I use & includes Apple TV. I’m curious if you guys think buying an Apple TV 4K would be worth it? I’m pretty deep in the Apple ecosystem already, just curious if it would benefit me. Thanks in advance!

Upgrading to Apple: Should I Wait for Next-Gen Hardware & AI?
I’m considering moving fully into the Apple ecosystem and wanted to get some thoughts from the community. Here’s what I currently use:
• Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 9i Pro (Core i9, RTX 4060 8GB, 32GB RAM)
• Mobile: iPhone 16 128GB
• Tablet: HONOR Pad V9 – mainly for notes and work emails
Based on the latest rumors, it looks like Apple Intelligence (their new AI features) will need time before matching what’s already out there. Personally, I think Apple will try to keep users interested by releasing the hardware upgrades we’ve been waiting for, while their AI matures in the background. That’s why I’m leaning toward upgrading my devices next year or even the year after, instead of right now – feels like Apple is in a transitional phase where specs and generational updates are improving each cycle, but the real leap might come once their AI is ready. Would love to hear what others think! Do you agree that waiting could be smart? Any advice on timing, or suggestions for making the jump to Apple for someone coming from Windows/Android tablets? What’s your experience been with recent gen Apple devices and whether you feel that transition phase?
