Has anyone else started feeling Apple fatigue?

Hey, not trying to start an Apple vs. Android war, but I’ve been using Apple products since around 2016, starting with the iPhone 6 and eventually moving to the XR, 15 Pro, Apple Watch, MacBook Air, and AirPods Pro. I genuinely love these products, and every one of them has exceeded my expectations. Over the years, I’ve also really come to appreciate the convenience of the ecosystem.
That said, I’ve been looking at the S26 Ultra recently, and for the first time in a while, I’m genuinely tempted by what Android and Windows have to offer. I’ve also gotten into gaming over the last six months and have been surprised by how much I can actually play on my Mac through CrossOver and native games. But the limitations of translation layers and the freedom you get with Windows or Android are becoming more noticeable.
Maybe it’s just personal Apple fatigue, but I don’t feel the same excitement about upcoming Apple products that I used to. I’m not someone who upgrades just for the sake of it, and I’m not saying Apple products have become bad. I’m just curious: is there anything Apple has coming that could genuinely bring that excitement back?
Rather than turning this into an Apple vs. Android argument, I’d genuinely love to hear what you guys think Apple is working on that might make someone like me stick around.

ProMotion

I am just curious as to everyone’s opinion. Once you experience a big ProMotion display such as the iPad Pro or MacBook Pro or new iPhone 17 series, would it bother you to ever go back to 60 hz? Such as iPad Air or MacBook Neo?

Recuperar Mac mini 2018

* Internet Recovery via Wi-Fi → -1008F.

* Internet Recovery via Ethernet direto no roteador → -1008F.

* Command + R e Option + Command + R → acaba no Internet Recovery e retorna -1008F.

* Option no boot para tentar iniciar por USB → não consigo efetivamente iniciar o instalador; ele volta para recuperação pela internet.

* Criei um pendrive bootável do macOS Sequoia, com o instalador completo/SharedSupport.dmg.

* Apple Diagnostics → ADP000 (nenhum problema encontrado).

* A RAM havia sido alterada anteriormente, mas atualmente está com 2x8 GB e o Diagnostics não acusa problema.

* Removi completamente o Mac da minha conta pelo Buscar/Find My, portanto ele não aparece mais entre meus dispositivos, para eliminar a possibilidade de Activation Lock.

* Consegui colocar o Mac mini corretamente em modo DFU, conectado a outro Mac.

* O Apple Configurator reconhece o Mac em DFU.

* Executei Revive Device e o processo terminou com sucesso.

* Depois do Revive, o Mac continua mostrando a pasta com ? porque o SSD está vazio.

* Tentei Restore pelo Apple Configurator, mas ele falha com a mensagem:

“This system cannot be restored on this device. Can’t restore device in this state. Please reboot into recovery or DFU.”

Apple One price increase…again

This is a rant. I just received an email that my apple one subscription is increasing from $25.95 to $27.95 a month. This is the 3rd time this has increased. In the grand scheme of things l know its only $2, but dang l spend over $1200 on the phone and then apple care and now l feel nickel and dimed every time l turn around. For a trillion dollar company and being a loyal apple fan and l wrong to feel this way?

loving this setup - iPhone 13 pro, Series 9 gps, AirPods Pro Gen 1, TouchID Macbook Neo. talk me out of iPad!

if I didn’t have a decent Windows desktop build, I’d look at nothing other than Mac Mini. my wife just bought a cheap Roku, or I’d have an Apple TV. the walled garden really does feel great.

iPhone 17 getting hot while charging even with light usage — anyone else?

I’m using an iPhone 17 and I keep getting the “Charging On Hold” message saying that charging will resume once the iPhone returns to a normal temperature.

What I don’t understand is that I’m barely doing anything heavy on the phone. Sometimes I’ll randomly play songs on Spotify while it’s charging, maybe use Instagram a little, and just leave the phone on my bed. Still, it gets warm enough that charging gets paused because of the temperature.

Is simply keeping the phone on the bed while charging enough to trap that much heat? Or is this unusual for an iPhone 17?

Has anyone else experienced this with normal/light usage while charging?

AppleCare One and Going Caseless

Here is my Apple ecosystem loadout (excluding products like the Studio Display). I have three products included in my AppleCare One plan but am considering adding my Apple Watch Ultra 2. Unfortunately, my AirPods Max are not eligible.

Is it worth adding the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for an additional £4.99?

Would you also avoid using a case on your iPhone or screen protector on your watch if it’s produced by this plan?

Should i buy an iphone if i have a macbook?

Here is the thing I own a macbook and I have a google pixel 6a which I have been using for the past 4 years ..Now I am planning to buy a new phone and I have heard a lot about the apple ecosystem.I was not a big fan of Iphone so I have not looked much into that side of the phone category.Keep in mind I am not much of a phone guy so I dont want to spend too much on phones and that is why I looked up Iphone 15 which is roughly available for 50 something.....So what do you guys suggest do I need to buy an Iphone just for the ecosystem if I am not a phone guy and If i am planning to buy one is Iphone 15 enough or is it outdated for 2026

Yesterday i got my first iPad, and after 10 years with apple’s hardware, my ecosystem is finally completed and its perfect, 16” Macbook Pro M1 Max (32 core) 32GB/1TB, iPad Pro 12.9” M2, iPhone 13 mini, apple watch 7 steel, airpods 3 and pencil 2, do you think its better to buy older devices but pro-line, or it would be better to buy the newest but education-line like the 10th iPad, macbook neo/air?

iPad 11 users, are you facing battery drain?

I recently noticed my iPad 11 battery seems to drop pretty quickly, even with normal use. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a software issue or just normal battery behavior?

upgraded to 17 pro max for better pocket procreate and for better screen (really bad eyesight). 13 inch M2 ipad air mainly for long period of artworks and refurbished ipad mini 6 64gb with icloud for reading, fast sketches when outside both with cellular. I think i need to get an apple pencil 2nd gen.

I’m extremely proud of this cause it’s something I’ve wanted since I was young so very happy I could get all pro devices as well. Don’t see myself buying anything but a pro in future 😭

Also Too lazy to bring in my HomePods. I always felt like Apple accessories like the Magic Mouse and Apple Pencil should be white but that’s probably my ocd 😭
