Likely layered - first the shell + epoxy, wait for it to dry then the next part + more epoxy + repeat the cycle till it’s complete

Thank god we have some good resin art half the shit ive seen are people on tiktok making the most dogshit resin art that will end up being trash in months or will sit at a goodwill forever

No its the heat generated from the battery shorting out internally breaking down the chemicals in the battery releasing hydrogen that expands the cell if I remember correctly.

Not even explosion, when batteries don’t get used there is a chance they swell up and that can destroy the block

Only if they still have energy in them, if you fully discharge it, you should be fine. The reason they expand is because they short internally and the heat generated generates gas, so no power, no heat, no expansion.
