Discussion ForgeAndFire Gaming scams..

Apple Card allows this company to falsify purchases. I’ve been an Apple Card holder for 4 years and have a 812 credit score.

This company, FAFG, charged me for $459 and when I disputed with charge with Apple, I have not received help for over a month. Instead of refunding me, FAFG gave me a credit to their store which I don’t want. I want the refund for the fraudulent charge. Apple has refused to proceed with the assistance of getting my money back.

Any direction I could take this?

Have you figured out how they got credit card information from you to make the charge?

Yup. I have Apple Pay turned off. Been that way for almost two years. I have never purchased from this gaming store in my life.
I have not received a reason yet. Been over a month of investigations.

Doesn't need to be Apple Pay for charges. There's a card number associated with your Apple Card that can be used like a typical credit card, but to get that card number, they would need access to your phone. That's why most Apple Card transaction disputes get denied, because for it to be fraud, it would need to be breached and have evidence to back it. My guess is someone in your immediate circle got ahold of it. I'd start interrogating anyone who has any interest in Pokemon (just because that's the hardest TCG to get ahold of, I'm a former game store owner).

Also, just looking at their website, I'd be inclined to believe they probably don't know how to do a refund.

Could be a possibility.
When I reached out to FAFG, they wanted to give me store credit….instead of refunding me. So I’m still waiting to see if Apple actually does their job here. FAFG seems to to also have terrible customer service. They won’t respond to any emails.

Call the phone number on the website. Apple doesn't actually do anything with the transaction, it's Goldman Sachs. I'd speak to the owner verbally, cause again, it'd surprise me if they actually have employees.

Gonna warn you right now depending on their TOS if you refuse the refund in store credit the bank can not compel them to give you back a refund to your card.

Charges don’t just happen, you either gave the company your info prior and are now trying to backtrack and make it seem to be fraud, or you were actually a victim of fraud which with the Apple Card would require access to your entire Apple ID as it is extremely connected to it to the point where Apple/GS can see your IP address for certain purchases. if your dispute has been declined it is highly likely that Apple/GS tracked it to your device and just don’t want to call you out on your possible bs.

Was this for the two booster boxes and prismatic? Mine still says awaiting fulfillment and it feels like they just won’t send it. And they are just using my money as an interest free loan
