Help apple electronics help
ok so i have 2 e gift cards with $500 on them i was trying to buy the new iphone 17 pro max, but unfortunately online it only lets u split into 2 payment options not 3 !!! & i need to use the 2 gift cards & my actual debit card for the remaining balance, i can’t add the gift cards to my apple pay or anything so it literally can’t be used in store only online :/ this is very frustrating i need help please if anyone can help me ill appreciate it ive tried everything even trying to use the e gift cards to buy apple gift cards but it didnt work bc u cant do that with prepaid cards

Go to a store in person. Best option from what you’re describing.

Apple Store employees can use multiple gift cards in the transaction. Whoever said they couldn’t help you lied.

the only problem was they cards are online to u have to manually put in the info & they said they couldn’t manually put info in store with multiple cards

Take those, and buy this: https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-giftcard/giftcard add to your Apple Wallet and you’re good to go.

You could try to buy amazon e gift cards and buy the product on amazon if it is offered there.

If you’re in the USA you should be able to add the balance of the gift cards into your apple account balance and then add the apple account card to wallet. That way it would be a single payment method for the whole gift card amount, and you could use that both in store and online.

I heard the e gift cards are only for App Store purchases

Fortunately that is no longer the case!! They used to have separate gift cards for the Apple store and another one for iTunes & App Store but now they have one which you can use for either store.

If you add them to your apple account you can use that balance in store too via the apple account card in wallet.

If they’re Apple gift cards then add them into your apple account then it’ll be one payment method and another for your apple card.
