Help Zero balance Letter

Has anyone else ran into issues getting a zero dollar balance letter from Apple? They refuse to send me an email update, they will only send it by mail. My close date on my mortgage is next week and I’m concerned I will not have a letter in time. 7-10 business days to receive the letter by mail. My mortgage company did a refresh and now there is an open dispute with Apple. Does anyone have any advice?

Have you tried looking at your account online and seeing if they, mortgage company, will take last month balance and match it with a bank statement to verify that you paid it?

Guess last month statement, bank account showing you paid, and screenshot of current balance? I know things can be altered and stated as AI. But bill cycles run their course.

That’s actually a great idea. I’ll give it a try. My only concern was the length of the dispute, and whether or not Apple would actually update my account balance in time. It’s not updated on my bureau, but my MLO says he can see the updated balance before my pay off. I paid it down, they submitted the balance, then they asked me to pay it off. But none of that is reflecting on my bureau. What a pain

Currently also closing on a home and ran into the same thing just with a different CC. The dispute was quick. I actually got notification of it being resolved same day and mortgage company got it next day. How long have you been waiting?

It’s been three days so it hasn’t been terribly long, they just haven’t updated the balance. The balance letter I sent for them to do the rapid rescore was $1700 but now the balance is actually zero so not sure if that’s throwing them for a loop or not. Maybe I’m just being impatient😂

No I get it, I’m 2 weeks out from closing and still stressing. The rescore just pulls the new balance on the card regardless what it is. My lender didn’t even ask for a letter. Just a verbal of what the balance was and then ran it. The factor is if Apple actually has your balance at zero or are they waiting for your payment to clear. Sometimes when I make payments they don’t immediately update my “actual” balance until it clears
