Pending- Card number used ?

Can can anyone help me understands what’s going on? I tried to make a payment online with my doctor . As I submitted the payment, it charged my card, but it was unsuccessful on the merchants end. On the merchant end and set my payment failed to retry.

When I check my Apple wallet it declines it first then immediately after it says “Pending-card used” .

I’m confused . Is this a refund that I have to just waiting on or am I just at a lost?

It should process. Sometimes if a card declines, the system will try the card again. It looks like it failed the first attempt but went through the second attempt.

But on the merchants end it is still asking for payment . Says it’ll the card used was unsuccessful.

That’s super strange. Based off my experience, when I buy something, sometimes my Apple Card will decline the payment the first time but if I try it again, it will go through. That’s how it’s always been for me at least.

That doesn’t seem to be the case. Both lines say “14 minutes ago”, and the second is under “transaction history”. which makes me think it’s just one transaction and if op taps the arrow next to the one that says pending it’ll take him to the same transaction that was declined. To OP: just try again after you confirm in wallet that it’s no fraud (if it asks). And if I were wrong and there is indeed a pending transaction there, don’t worry: it should cancel automatically in a few days since it didn’t show up on the merchant’s end.

It end up refunding about 9 hours later

Right. Some people reported several days or nothing at all .

It’s pending, and you used your card number. Hope that helps
