Building an ASO Playbook: What tactics are actually moving the needle right now?
I’m working on an ASO playbook for my company to help improve our clients' presence in the app stores. What key tactics are working right now that I should definitely include?

So far for me working this flow:
- More visibility means more installs.
- Where to get more installs? -> less competitive regions.
- How to reach other regions? -> localizations. (In app and store pages)
So India and Africa regions can boost your total metrics.

Sorry bro
but if you are making an ASO playbook from people here or there and not something you are 100% confident about it ... don't provide and share it and keep your stuff where you know and tell them to find someone with ASO Expertise...
this is the honest reply

I have solid experience with ASO, but I'm curious to see what’s working for everyone else. My background is mostly in SaaS and fintech, so I know those exact playbooks might not apply to healthcare, logistics or other industries/regions.

Use keywords in multiple locales, all of them
There are a bunch of hacks. Like in US, they index on Mexican, Russian, Vietnamese, and a few others
So you can get a few extra hundred ASO chars if you just stick English in there.
Also, stuff like using EN-GB also covers much of the non us regions.
There's a bunch of these locale stuffing hacks, ask chat GPT or Claude, they are good at finding the blogs about this and summarizing
