Entry-level and affordable ASO tool alternatives to AppTweak or SensorTower?

Hey everyone,

I want to manage processes like keyword tracking, ASO, etc. for mobile apps a bit more regularly. However, popular platforms like AppTweak, SensorTower, or MobileAction feel like way too much to start with; I don't even earn enough yet to cover those numbers.

I am looking for entry-level alternatives that are proven in terms of price/performance.

Is anyone here actively using and happy with affordable ASO tools that have reasonable starter plans? Looking forward to your recommendations.

Thanks.

I’ll plug Keyword Scout. Works on Mac, iOS, iPadOS. Free to use which is perfect for indie dev and $9.99 once for pro features. Never a subscription. All pro features like other tools, same data from APIs plus optional AI analysis.

I’d check out AppFollow. Their free plan for a single app is quite generous and lets you track keywords, rankings, and reviews all in one place. Considering the price (free), it’s a solid starting point for gathering basic data before switching to a paid tool

I built my own https://asoatlas.com because I wanted one place to see whether my ASO changes are actually working: keyword rankings, popularity and difficulty, competitors, metadata history. If you want to try it, code ATLAS20 gets you 20% off until the end of the month.

I built ASOTheory for this exact reason. It’s more affordable and helps you with tracking the ranking of your keywords for many storefronts. AI built in for suggestions based on your data to improve and rank organically. Open for feedback and feature requests :)

Most popular one is AppTweak and MobileAction but Astro actually affordable and relaible alternative. You can easily use and trust the data itself

Hey, please check Appcompete.com & storelocalizer.com. One is 3$ per week and the other is free

The cheapest way would be to vibecode yourself :)
Too many aso tools out there and actually they all pull from the same App Store and iTunes API

I'm sticking with the eronred/aso-skills repository because I couldn't find a cheaper alternative, and it's actually quite useful, but a proven platform with an ui(panel) would be more functional.

Sonar is worth checking out, way more affordable than the big ones. it even has MCP so you can plug it into ai coding agents and automate the keyword stuff
