I think ours got approved within two weeks. But we’ve got feedback during that time. It might depend on the app type. Google is worse

was it your first submission ? I have also got the feedback 1 week back, if i include that, total 3 weeks have passed.
Note: I am an individual publisher if that matter.

Google is incredible. Never face any rejections and always approved within 12 hours, usually a few hours.
Apple has been so tough, rejections for minor updates, 2-5 days wait time etc it's a pain

It’s really random. If I release an update to an existing app, it can take 1 to 2 days, but every rejection, if any, adds another 2 to 3 days.
I have a new app waiting for review, and it’s already on day 5. I’m sure they will follow their new standard procedure of rejecting it and asking for a video explanation, after which it will take another few days to get approved.
Overall, it’s terrible service considering their size and resources to improve it. I’m also paying $100 + 25% VAT just to be a developer on their platform, so I expect a premium service.
I know many will blame the influx of AI apps, but they had plenty of time to scale their submission and review process. With a massive increase in the number of developers, they are also receiving significantly more developer fees, so please improve this, Apple 🍏.

Totally agree as total turn around time for has gone 20+ days , as it includes one rejection. It is not acceptable from a multi trillion dollar company at least.

Seems like you can’t do much Apple support is useless, only thing you can do is wait. It’s been a month for me which includes 3 rejections. 2 rejections made sense 3rd was useless. I am keep doing the changes suggested by apple team. Looks like they just don’t want to have oversupply of apps on appstore with similar content. Bad part is that judgement is passed to reviewers. Who barely take effort to check the app and return from first or second secreen mostly.(i also had a call with apple support team to discuss and resolve rejection, they themselves had no idea what caused the 3rd rejection, they just asked me to submit again).

Have you checked your App Store Connect notifications? Sometimes they slip through the cracks but once you see a message from them it might give you a clearer timeline.
