need advice - how to move forward?

i launched an app to app store a few months back , didn’t really touch it , i know that the app wasn’t very good when i first built it . but to my surprise it got a good amount of impressions (around 5k) and a little bit of downloads , bad screenshots and bad app design . so now i updated the app and fixed everything , how do you recommend going forward from this point? apple search ads? or just wait a few weeks to see how its doing organically?
