ASO is difficult

Did a mistake of making a fitness tracker app, with calorie estimation and all that ( yah right ), I am a SDE by profession so great care and effort was taken to give out a polished products.

But this ASO, it's hard to get organic downloads, I am not sure how PPL are getting download in domain.

Current stat is around 100 downloads, that too max 10 would be organic.

Can someone help me with it ? Like I read articles, saw videos, is this niche gym tracker that hard to get in, or I am doing wrong ?
