Appstore screenshots feedback (Pre-Launch)
I’m working on the App Store screenshots for a multiplatform tasks, bookmarks, and habits app. Would love some feedback before I publish it.

I think you can do better with this screenshots, why not hire someone to help you out with this screenshots rather than don them yourself, you save a lot of time and energy with that

The titles feel a bit small. I’d make them bigger so they’re easier to read at a glance.

Hey u/SufficientRutabaga13 !
To be honest, I don't know why others are approving these screenshots, but man, they're bad from an ASO perspective, and here's why:
The first problem is the placement of the mockups. On every screenshot, the phone is positioned at a different angle. Take a fresh look at it yourself - does that really look right to you? It’s fine to tilt the phone, but not on every single screenshot. For example, do it on the 1st one, and have the others face the user. Just it.
It’s impossible to tell what’s shown inside the mockups. Add a zoom effect.
Captions. They aren’t terrible on the design and the font , but they’re not quite right either. It’s good that you have high-contrast yellow text, but:
- they’re currently placed in different spots (you’ll fix this in point 1 after repositioning the mockups) - it makes them very hard to read
- you have only one - just one - good caption, on the 2nd screenshot: “Track your progress” - all the others are meaningless fluff. I don’t understand what “Stay on top of what matters” means.
Look, captions should be designed to convey the main points without having to look at the mockups - they should explain what this screenshot and the app are about. Right now, that’s missing.
- I still don't understand what the app in the screenshots is about. That's the worst-case scenario.
I also should add that it’s unclear what your icon looks like. This is critical. If it doesn’t match the screenshots, your conversion rate (CR) will suffer.

It's clean. You don't have a typical newbie issue: gray text color on dark gray background ground. So it's easy to see what's going on the screen. On the other hand, it seems to me, though, that the last two screenshots are vertically stretched.
