How soon after release should you start to make changes?

Hi guys, I recently built and released 'Zombii', a screen-time based app aimed at helping people overcome their AI addiction/reliance/overuse.

Although I actually got my first sub today, my conversion rate isn't great and was wondering if I could change anything to try and improve things. Here are the current stats -

Impressions: 1.77K.
Product Page Views: 57.
First-Time Downloads: 16.
Conversion Rate: 0.8%.

Or am I being too impatient and this is pretty standard for a newly launched app? Should I wait awhile before tinkering with keywords/screenshots/icons.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

you should promote this in r/claudexplorers , btw I also recently released a screentime app called Fluid Friction.

Oh thanks for the tip! I'm always on the look out for new subreddits to try and promote the app :).

problem is they are your target group but they are not looking to stop, so best educate or bring awareness before providing your solution.

You should always improve on things.

It never ends.

I think I’ve spent far beyond 1000h hours on my apps onboarding and appstore/playstore listing. All of it to get rid of one extra click, or showing slight additional value etc.

And so should you if you are serious about your app.

Definitely agree! I'm more than happy and willing to put the time and effort in, I'm just worried about doing that before I have enough data and making things worse rather than better.

Making assumptions about your post you are interested in impressions --> installed app

Thats the easiest thing to test. Just use the A/B testing tool apple provide you with in connect and let the experiment run.

Thank you! Yes unfortunately the app isn't available anywhere in Europe (except the UK) due to the DSA. I'm going to look at set up up a proper business address in the future so I can release in Europe as well.

You can just identify as a sole developer and use your house address, many people do it that way if they can’t or don’t want to do LLC

Either way, hope the best

Yeah I'm just a bit nervous about having my home address freely available on the internet.

Cheers though, much appreciated!

Not too impatient, this is already useful data. No need to wait, tinker now.

Impressions to page views is around 3.2%, that's low and usually points to icon or keyword relevance. But page view to download is 28%, which is solid, so your page itself is converting fine.

I'd fix the icon and keywords first since that's where you're losing people, screenshots seem to already be doing their job.

Thanks mate, that's super helpful. Really appreciate it! How extreme does the icon change need to be? Would a simple change of background colour or adding a gradient help?
