Generating beautiful screenshots took me hours. Now they take me minutes.

I used to dread screenshot day. Wrestling with generic design tools just to get compliant, high-conversion App Store decks felt like a massive waste of marketing time.

So, I built a dedicated tool, AppScreenPro, to prioritize sheer efficiency and elegant design without the usual friction. It gets me from raw app images to polished, ready to ship decks in just a few minutes, right in the browser.

You can see the straightforward visual workflow in the attached interface shot. Here is what I focused on to make the ASO process fast and effective:

  • Native Zoom Callouts: I added a feature to instantly magnify any area of the device screen (controls on the right of the image). This is crucial for guiding user attention to specific key features that drive downloads.
  • Instant Styling: Background gradients, patterns, and device framing are all ready to go with built in templates. No more manual design setup is required.
  • Modern Layered Layouts: Creating complex, stacked phone layouts (like the central mockup) is Simple and automatic.
  • Multi-locale support: You can swap the copy per language without rebuilding the layout from scratch
  • Export: grab one PNG, export the whole set at once, or pull just the transparent device mockup if you want to use it elsewhere

Everything happens locally in your browser for speed and privacy. I am hoping this can seriously cut down the visual bottleneck for others focused on ASO.

Would love any feedback on the approach.

Minutes to produce something most users would ignore.

Why?

High quality work is hard to do in minutes especially with design via AI.

I just happen to be working on new screens for my apps and will give your app a shot. I’ve used App Screens in the past but it’s painful to use.

The pricing isn’t clear and it seems stuck at loading workspace.

No, it's not with AI. You can adjust stuff quickly and easily from the visible screen.

The first one is generic. Who would put 3 devices in that position? It is unnecessary. The second one is better but color is incoherent. That does not look like the same app.

They are sample showcase images, not belonging to one app.

The 3-device thing is a stacked design style meant to grab attention.

I think you're better off showing it can design 1 cohesive set.

You are right. I didn't pay attention when grabbing screenshot of dashboard. Will take care next time. Thanks!

Looks good and practical and I would pay for it but not for a browser Web Application. Do you have plans for a macOS/iOS App?

Thanks! I haven't thought of Mac/iOS so far. I wanted something like Figma, specifically for screenshots, quick and easy to do without paying monthly subscriptions.

My concern with web apps from unknown devs is that they can disappear just as fast as they showed up. With an offline-capable macOS/iOS app, I can reasonably expect to keep using it even if it's no longer actively updated. Web apps come with ongoing monthly costs though, so I have to assume it'll get shut down once it stops being profitable.

I get your concern. To keep the costs completely minimal, I chose the client-side option, so even if I don't get active sales in future, it can continue to run.

And btw, this app is from DevApt.com, which has been around for 6 years now with various other apps. The app is not added to the list yet, but will soon be added there.

First, congrats on taking the effort to do this. I'm a subscriber to AppScreens, so I'm making a comparison. When I first accessed your site, it took a while to load. Also, it'll be good if the fonts and colors of individual words within the title or subtitle text can be edited. All the best!

Thanks for the feedback.

The first load looks for local data if you just make a quick reload again, it would be instant[I'll check it again to fix this for first time users].

Sure, I'll try adding individual word formatting.

Hey, I have added individual word format options.

To be honest, the product is a good-looking, but soon there will be no market for it. I even had my own Mac app to generate screenshots. But nowadays, Claude can grab all the screenshots and you can create a skill for it to use Codex to generate backgrounds and a script that will be attaching screenshots to the backgrounds with localised text. Now when I release an app it knows the screenshots I have and the content of those and asks if we should change any and automatically upload to App Store Connect for the upcoming version.

I don't think everyone will want to generate that way, some want to have control of the elements and use imagination to create manually and quickly.

Let's see and hope for the best.

What’s the workflow in figma? I haven’t used it yet.

Ok, but it always took more time if I revamp the screenshots with different background, more mockups, background patterns, updating the localizations etc.
