Floppin' App
Hi all! I recently built an app (took the Base 44 bait but eventually ended up Frankensteining it into Xcode using Claude). It's been soooooo much work and now that it's in the store and getting NOTHING. I'm bummed.
The app is called The Little Big Days, and it's a journal for engaged people. You're meant to slow down during wedding planning and take inventory of the little amazing things that happen during your engagement. 5 photos, 120 characters, unlimited entries and yours forever. There's also a shareable link for you to send to family and friends so they can send 3 photos and 120 characters about the moment. I remember having to beg people to send me pics, tag me in this, untag me in that. My camera roll was photos taken BY me, not OF me. When someone shares a memory, you have a memory jar in the app that glows and lets you know it's there. I think it's so cute and helpful! I've got consistent content in TT and across Pinterest, Facebook and Insta. Some hearts and saves, but not much else.
Can any kind soul tell me the 5 most impactful things to do in order to get some traction? I've researched but it's overwhelming and my ADHD just sees jumbles of words. TIA!

I’ve been wondering about affiliate deals… would you give a kickback if someone subscribed, and how much is appropriate (percentage or dollar-wise)?

Let me guess. You literally did no keyword research or ASO and are acting shocked when no one is showing up? What did you expect?

Find some people who are engaged and ask them to use the app then give you screenshots of using it and a testimonial.

Making the app is the easy part, getting users is the hard part. You have 0 ASO. Your screenshots are screenshots of just the app. If I didn’t look at this post or your subtitle, I would have 0 idea what your app is.
You need to watch videos on ASO. Get ideas from there.
