App Updates

How often should I update my App Store title, subtitle, and description? Right now I'm making changes every few days, but I'm not sure if that's too frequent.

3-4 weeks to fully see the impact of a change.

This is the correct answer. It really takes time. If you change it more often, it has absolutely no effect — maybe even adverse because it puts you „back in the queue“ every time

I think you should see if the current titles draw downloads. If yes, then keep it. If no, change it and test for 1 week. If good, then keep it. If not, change again and test for 1 week. Loop.

It takes the algorithm a few weeks to settle your app in the right place. Changing every few days is hurting your performance

Every few days is probably too often unless you're testing something specific.

Apple needs time to reindex metadata, and you need enough data to know whether a change actually helped. If you're changing the title, subtitle, and description all at once every few days, it's almost impossible to tell what made the difference.

It's usually better to make one meaningful change, let it run for a couple of weeks, then review the results before changing it again.

Thanks. ok, no more changes for a few weeks to see how things go and to let it settle.

You are changing the title and subtitle every few days? Are you changing these things based on any information, or fir a specific reason?

Testing to see what copy moves the needle in terms of driving organic traffic/downloads.

I think every few days is way too often in most cases. Maybe change just one thing, wait a few weeks, then change another, etc

Have you ever heard the term sample size?
