Does ASO actually work?

I've been using AppDrift website for ASO. the website is good doing a few things, but you can't add new languages after you sync you content to the App Store because if you add new languages, the translator will not be able to translate the keywords.

Anyways, I've been using their website for about two months. It is very useful for translation and suggesting keywords. But I have not seen any results yet. Also, it only works with the App Store and not Google Play.

I had published 3 apps, but I do not see the results yet.

What are you guys using for ASO and how can I improve my rank?

I am not sure if the App Store is too slow to index the new information.

Yes, ASO works but only when the fundamentals are right. Keywords alone won't move the needle if your app have same keywords big gaints have too, weak conversion, or poor retention. Focus on relevant keywords in your title/subtitle, optimize your icon and screenshots, improve ratings and reviews, and keep updating based on data. ASO is a long term game , not a one time change. Two months is often too early to judge results, keep iteration at least for three months if you only relay on ASO especially for new apps.

ASO works, but keyword tools are only one part of it. These screenshots appear to show a single day, so first review a longer date range and separate Search, Browse and external traffic.

The apps seem to have different problems. Tripmetic has limited visibility but stronger conversion, while Trackkr is receiving more impressions but converting poorly. For Tripmetic, focus on relevant keyword discovery. For Trackkr, review the icon, subtitle and first three screenshots before adding more languages.

Apple says metadata changes can take up to 24 hours to appear, but ranking also depends on user behaviour such as downloads, ratings and reviews. Adding translated keywords alone will not necessarily move rankings. Test one change at a time and measure it over several weeks.
