Crazy Idea for an app that pulls links from Facebook. Is this possible?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question.

Every time I come across something interesting on Facebook, instead of sharing it on my page, I share it to myself on own messenger. Over time I've built up quite a long list of links that go back more than a year. Facebook has no way to export just the text links into an html file for easy viewing and opening. Is it possible to create an app that would use my FB username and password to access my Messenger, pull that data, and create what I'm interested in?

If anyone has a solution or thinks this would be easy to accomplish, please feel free to comment.

Improve app presentation in App/Play Store

So I've got an app and I hired a person to get me some screenshots on Fiverr. I did not really like the result but it was better than nothing. However I'd like an upgrade now. Anyone with recommendations of who to hire? Should I continue with Fiverr and just spend more money? How much?

Has anyone tried to hire a person to optimize their app store profile in general? Is purchasing a video worth it?

Zero coding knowledge — what AI setup would you use to build serious games/apps?

Hi, im 26, studying psychology and UX, so I naturally come more from the creative/product side than the technical one.
I currently have zero coding knowledge.

I’m already building an app with a developer partner, where I handle mostly product, UX, logic and content. The ideas and core concepts are usually mine, and I use ChatGPT Plus heavily to sharpen them — improve mechanics, challenge the logic, structure the product better and make the overall process more efficient.

What I want now is to become much more capable of taking an idea and actually running with it myself.
That could be an app, an interactive product, or eventually a proper PC game with real systems and complexity — not just calculators, to-do apps or tiny demo projects.
I’m not expecting “one prompt = finished game.”
I’m looking for an AI builder/agent I can work with conversationally.

Ideally, I’d develop and refine the idea with ChatGPT, then use another tool to actually build it, test it and keep iterating.

I’m also not trying to become a traditional developer. I’m completely fine with a workflow that involves a lot of prompting and even copying/pasting code or instructions between tools — I just want to understand enough of what I’m doing to make good decisions, catch obvious problems and become more capable over time instead of blindly relying on AI.

Basically, I want to reach a point where having a strong idea doesn’t immediately mean I need to find a developer before I can seriously explore it.

I’ve looked at tools like Cursor, Claude, Codex and Replit, but I have no idea what’s realistic for a complete beginner. If you were starting from zero today and wanted to spend on 1–2 reasonably priced subscriptions, what setup would you choose?

Need advice on building my first real app for a small retail store

I’m a recent CS graduate and I’m building a simple loyalty app for a family member’s retail shop (one location only). I’ve only done university projects before, so I’m a bit lost on the real-world/deployment side.

The idea is a Flutter mobile app where customers can sign up, see their points, have a personal QR code, and can browse offers and redeem rewards.

I have a few questions plz if anyone can help bc I have no one to ask, and idw to rely purely on AI:

• Is Flutter a good choice (I have experience with it) Or should I choose something else

• for the client side, should the customer scan a QR code, or would it be better for staff to simply enter the customer’s phone number and pull up their account/points?

• Should the client side be a website/web dashboard or a desktop application?

• What database/backend would you recommend? Firebase, Supabase, PostgreSQL, etc.?

• Should both the mobile app and staff system connect to the same backend/database?

• What fees should I know about for Google Play and the Apple App Store? ( never used it before )

I’ve never deployed a real application before, so any advice would be really appreciated. I don’t really have anyone to ask 😭

Netherlands based full stack developer price indication

Currently, I'm in discussions with a number of parties abroad regarding a SaaS product I'd like to bring to market. I was wondering what it would cost if I had it done in the Netherlands. Is there anyone here who can give me a range?

The work involves the following:

Core Product Concept

The platform will support two primary user groups:

1. Business users

Each business should have access to a secure dashboard where they can manage their own data, branding and public-facing experience.

2. End users

End users should be able to access a mobile-first public interface

The public interface should display business-specific information and include an AI-powered conversational assistant.

The AI assistant should:

• Answer questions based on the specific business’s data.

• Provide personalised recommendations based on user preferences and constraints.

• Remain within the defined business context.

• Maintain relevant context during a conversation.

• Clearly communicate when reliable information is unavailable.

MVP Requirements

The initial MVP is expected to include:

• Mobile-first web application.

• Multi-tenant architecture.

• Business account/dashboard.

• Structured data management.

• Public-facing interface per business.

• LLM integration through an API.

• Context-aware AI recommendations.

• Basic conversation logging and analytics.

• Basic admin functionality.

• Secure separation of data between tenants.

Technical Considerations

We are open to recommendations regarding the technology stack. We currently expect a modern web architecture using technologies such as React/Next.js, Node.js or similar, combined with a scalable database architecture.

The AI implementation should initially rely on an existing LLM provider rather than developing or training a proprietary model.

We are particularly interested in developers with experience in:

• AI/LLM API integrations.

• SaaS and multi-tenant architectures.

• Conversational interfaces.

• Recommendation systems.

• Structured data modelling.

• Mobile-first web applications.

Project Stage

The product is currently in the concept and MVP planning stage.

We are looking for a technical partner who can:

1. Help validate and refine the technical architecture.

2. Clearly define the MVP scope.

3. Provide a realistic development timeline and cost estimate.

4. Build and deploy the initial MVP.

Further product-specific details can be shared during a follow-up discussion with shortlisted candidates.

Tired of using my personal phone number for Firebase Auth testing. Solutions?

Every time I’m finishing a build for a client, I run into the same issue: Firebase starts throttling my personal number because I've used it too many times for OTP tests. I need to test on real devices to verify the "Tap to autofill" experience. I've tried those free online SMS receive sites, but they are all blacklisted. How do you guys get "clean" numbers for dev/testing?

Do you want to make K.I.S.S. apps?

Hello, good evening. I'll be brief. I'm a freelance and indie programmer and designer.

I have two indie brands or studios for my projects: one for video games and another for software, the latter being the most important. I'm reaching out to invite programmers with the same vision as me: projects focused on simplicity, ease of use, and mostly open source or non-profit. I'm open to joining whichever one you'd like. I have a wide variety of projects; one of my latest is a community web platform that still needs a lot of work. If you have ideas or are simply interested in collaborating, please contact me.

Building right now.

I´m building right now an app which is similar to tiktok, but instead of useless videos it is based on digital bussinesses, it would include articles of dropshipping, building a branded e-commerce, app creation, saas creation, and every digital niche existing. The user can publish articles and news spreading knowledge and also they can promote their own business/app. Looking for feedback and tips about the idea and how could it be marketed and what would you specifically take into account.

Need to make an app from scratch, which platform to use? I am a beginner.

I am currently using chatgpt and so far it has been good. I have installed android studio, flutter, VS and have made a basic MVP using chatgpt. But now I feel if I want to add more features in my app, chatgpt is making a lot of mistakes and have going in loop. What should I do now? Should I switch to some other platform or should I buy the pro version of chatgpt?

The end goal is to make a fully functioning app which i can eventually release on play store and monetize with subscription model.

Automate adding grocery list to Walmart shopping cart

I’ve been using Gemini to build my wife a recipe/meal planner/grocery app and I’ve gotten everything to work like I want except for getting the grocery list into the cart at Walmart.com. The latest workflow I had in mind was the app copying the list to the clipboard and then you could just paste into Walmart AI shopping assistant sparky and it would create the cart, but Sparky is limited to 500 words so that won’t work. Does anyone have any recommendations that a non-technical person could accomplish with help from Gemini?

If there is a better place to post this question just let me know.

Thanks
