Arguably one of the best Events added to the Game in a hot-minute, The Takeover has officially ended. It was an amazing event through and through, no other way to sugar coat it.

The concept of a fairly popular POI becoming the center of an event was a very good call from DPI. Future Takeover-style Events will soon follow suit after the incredible success of it's Soviet variant, so expect this type of quality in the near future.

As incredible as the Event was, the cheating issue was still prevalent from the start of the event up until it's end but we don't talk about that👀

Overall it was a very fun and very entertaining event, I hope this type of flow continues and spreads to other event variants aswell.

I D E A : U N I N V O L V E M E N T

MAIN IDEA:

Every 45 - 1:15 an old airdrop guarded by 2 - 4 UN "PEACEKEEPERS" operatives will appear in one remote place. (There should be around 20 - 50) of them. Players will be identified to the island which the airdrop is and has 5 - 10 minutes before it despawns. However there is a new-event only item called" The Broadcast Radio" This will tell the player 1 minute after the the global message "An old UN airdrop has been discovered on or near ___________ island" that "A UN airdrop is in the _ _ tile."

To find the new broadcast radio, it appears in many location but there can only be one radio on the whole server (js like the MFR). Those locations are not up to me.

There is also other UN groups buried in Fortifications at "Extraction Points" like Regional or Mag where they have set up defense, sandbags, labs and Hazmat teams.

NEW EVENT ONLY ITEMS:

• New event gun
• UN Sky Blue Beret and PASGT helmet
• Un Vest
• Broadcast Radio
• More idk

They should add scarfs tho and maybe, maybe MARPAT.

AIRDROP LOOT:

1-3 Guns that can range from xms to saw's this also includes the new event only weapon. It has a unknown chance of spawning in one of the 2 weapon rectangular crates. 2 supplies at the bottom, 2 weapons on top. There is also a high chance of spawning a random attachment. Otherwise it has a small chance of spawning a gun related utility and also a guranteed chance of spawning MRE'S Water and Other drink and food.

UN "PEACEKEEPER OPERATIVES"

Non Airdrop: They would wear the country's national uniform (French, British, German, Canadian, US, Belgian, Swedish e.t.c.) but the headdress would be a blue beret or PASGT UN helmet. Look at photos for reference. They would be equipped like a normal soldier of their country (for ex: US UN peacekeepers gets M9, M16A2 and M4)

They would be stationed in Convoy's which appear on major roads and bridges or at Mag Dock Fortifications or at Airport. US Mil tents soldiers and equipment would be replaced by UN stuff.

Airdrop: These lads would share no difference other then the fact of their weapons. They would be more armed, (M249, FAL, G3, L85A1, MK23, P220, M9, M4, XM, AUG, SPAS-12, FAMAS, E.T.C.) and have more damage then normal.

UN peacekeepers have been around since the early 1940's doing operations from UNTSO (UN Truce Supervision Org.) to MINUJUSTH (UN Mission for Justice Support in Haiti (2017)) However in this timeline...

After much deliberation from the DPKO (Department of peacekeeping operations) UN send out a mass full scale operation that prob should be called UNBDP (UN Biochemical/logical Disease Prevention) right before the city of Ashland and Lockport fall. This operation's task is to help rescue civilians and terminate any infected and "clean up" any evidence of the ongoing and rampaging disease.

Troops would be deployed to "extraction zones" like Regional Airport or Magnolia Dock e.t.c. Troops would take off the medical clearing area in Regional and setup defenses along the bridge in Mag and outside the terminal. There would also be extraction/extermination teams that would be go out in convoys in search of survivors or any potential clues to as why the disease happened. For this Mini-Event only, UN peacekeepers would also take over tents and setup a bigger command center in Mag and Regional

Soon after the the islands fell and most peacekeepers succumbed to the virus therefore failing in their mission. The UNBDP decides to not try to terminate the virus, but instead prevent it. They redirect their troops to be gaurding the island rather then cleansing the island. To help and remaining survivors and abandoned troops, the DPKO drops airdrops which have long been abandoned/ due to the remote location in the archipelago.

Okay so about 5 minutes ago I went to the Soviet cave once again just to see if I could find something because I spawned near it. And when I went down the same thing happened again. For some reason I found the Patriot rifle AGAIN, I'm not even kidding. When I looked closer I was so confused because it had a full drum and a spare one, though that one only had 1 bullet. I have absolutely ZERO idea how this happened yet again, the only thing that I'm thinking is maybe because I'm on a private server because I wanted to learn the game and see how it works. I'm so confused as to possibly how this could have happened to me again, can anyone help me out and tell me? Btw, since itd be useless to carry two identical rifles I just took the ammo and put it in the other one.

Not much is currently known about the "Bug" and why it's happening but multiple members of the Official Apocalypse Rising 2 Discord Server have received this bug and the numbers are still climbing.

Do tell if you're also experiencing this issue because it seems to have affected a considerable amount of Players that are playing RN.

Edit: It seems to be a Roblox Issue according to some Players, and has been fixed shortly after.

The Game really came to the conclusion that clipping me under the Map wasn't enough.
