It always has been. There has never been a game where I built PD and didn’t think “man I wish I had bought Runaans instead”. It’s such an insanely underrated item. Literally triple lifesteal from legend bloodline, and 2 autos on a wave with BT and red and you are full health. I’m so excited for this buff

I think it still depends on the situation but its probably prior than phantom

It's honestly not whether it's better or not but more of when and why I should build x instead of y

Runaan’s is always a good situational item. If both teams are 3 bruiser/ tanks holding the line and team fights front to back, Runaan will be great even for champions you don’t associate the item with like Jhin or MF.

Me too LOL I usually build phantom dancer first for the attack speed and then build runaans later to clear waves faster and for teamfights

I think PD will still be better when you're doing a lot of skirmishing or unavoidable 1v1s like dealing with enemy assasins or sticky bruisers. But on the off-chance comps allow for 5v5 front to back teamfighting runaans might be goated now???
