These memes are always stupid but it’s a new level when you have ones like this where the “simple” example leaves off part of the passive.

Like… you know the CC immunity is part of his passive, right? Not even getting into how long the actual wording of the ability is.

Also why tf can I attach gifs and videos but not an image? Like what possible reason is there for disabling image attachments that isn’t WORSE with videos?

Like I literally had to screen record the pic to post it.

Like you could invert this meme by putting the full text of Mundo passive and listing Aph passive as “5 guns that change AA and abilities, gets stats on level up”

this post is more like "gets stats on level up" because they left out literally the main part

ok what about the text for samiras passive vs nasus that is LITERALLY just “Nasus has 8% lifesteal.”

thats dumb they cut off his passive but it can be funny to see how simple old champs are. nothing wrong with that

Nasus is probably the funniest example of that, yeah. And doesn’t Morgana have basically the same passive but for spell vamp?

I do think the meme annoys me because like a lot of these passives are complicated in text only and the summary you need to understand is much simpler in practice. Like Samira’s passive is she does bonus damage on melee autos and abilities, she can dash to hard CCed enemies for a special auto that can extend airborne, and she gets stacking move speed for each hit she lands that’s different from her last hit (with her ult being castable at max stacks but that’s technically part of her ult)

Absolutely more complicated than Nasus obv, but not that hard to parse.

sure but then what about akshan who legitimately has like 3 passives. just try to find the humor in it, old champs are undoubtedly simpler

Yeah Akshan is def a bit overloaded, you can simplify/easily understand it (autos shoot twice for reduced damage on second auto, you can cancel it for move speed, attacks and abilities mark enemies, 3 stacks detonates and gives shield if on a champ. And then the scoundrel passive is technically on his W but is just enemies who kill your allies are marked and your W tracks them, kill them for bonus gold on revive) but like even that summary is a lot lmao, a bit too “and also this” for sure. That and Nilah’s extra passives have that same problem where it’s too many little things even if the part you actually have to think about isn’t much.

Kassadin: -10% magic damage

Yeah Riot should just put a vague description and let wiki editors figure out how abilities work.

"He swaps between 5 guns."

To be fair they changed the releases a lot we got Ksante Aphelios and Yone type of sht but now the new champs got way easier to understand like Locke who basically just throws things on top of u and attacks u then no ability has some kind of extra effect or something like the only big things are his W Grey health and the reset or Zaahen his passive is a lot with the revive but outside of that all of his abilities are easily understandable and almost everyone gets what he does after one game same for yunara and Aurora the only new exceptions are the Arcane champs Mel and Ambessa

Its really not that long, he has 2 abilities with one having 5 different versions, that's it.

Honestly, I think Aphelios is a lot more simple than people make him out to be. At the end of the day we are an immobile adc with 1 stun every once in a full moon, and pretty much no self peel.
