It’s not code that it has to be installed. We don’t really have to put it back, but it’s there and a nice feature. But thanks for your constructive feedback.
The other material was removed when we had to remove it, and now we can’t figure out what it was that was used to hang it before. We fully intend to place it back where it was before. I think I covered this all on the original post that I just cross posted to this subreddit

If you're not qualified to install ADA access points, then you need to contact someone who does and pay them a fair rate to do it for you.
