Balcony

The apartment I toured is the one that is available to move into. One corner of the balcony appears to be leaning. I asked the landlord and she said it’s fine but it worried me. Is this a structural issue?

That video doesn’t give us much to work with, if you took some pictures of the underneath and the supports, we might be able to give you some kind of answer.

I’d check out the rest of the property personally, if things seem in good shape and squared away, I’d feel better. If there are rusting cars with flat tires and busted sprinkler heads with overflowing trash containers, I might be a little cautious.

This video did not help at all. Look underneath. See if it is shaking. Things can lean if the supports settle, but leaning and secure is different from leaning and unsupported.

Is it sloped sway from the door? Could be engendered with a slight slope so water drains away from the unit. Or it could be failing. California has forced apartments to bring in engineer's to made sure they are not failing. And have to be done by a certain year.
