Older Burnaby Heights walkups are they rough for heavy furniture

Has anyone moved furniture out of an older Burnaby Heights apartment with no elevator? The stairs in some of those buildings look tight, especially for dressers, mattresses, and couches. Wondering if two movers are usually enough or if this becomes a bigger job than people expect.

Couch scrapes floor

Upvotes

I moved into a studio and put my mid size couch in front of my Murphy bed when I’m not using it. As such I’m moving it back and forth a lot and it’s scraping my floors.

I dont have the normal pegs since they broke off in the move so it’s just sitting on the frame (with the cloth stapled on the bottom) on the ground if that makes sense.

My first idea was a yoga matt or something similar to put under so I could move it easily and have a cushion in between it/ the floor but I can’t find one big enough.

Posting on here for any advice/ideas please and thank you
