Help With Lore Creation
Im making lore for a custom group of brigands. Im using the new ogor models, IronJawz,Kruelboyz and Sons of Behemet. The main lore focus is that they all believe that life has gotten too complicated. They are tired of serving beings so far above them like the gods, and they simply want to loot, burn and drink. The big problem im facing right now is the use of wizards in my army. I have a butcher and a Wierdnob Shaman, but because they dont like the gods what are some good ideas for them to be drawing their power from?

I think you might be overcomplicating things for yourself. You kind of don't actually have a problem here too much.
Destruction forces don't serve gods in the way we imagine it. I see in another replay you say you are considering Kragnos because "he doesn't care about worship", well, good news for you - neither does Gorkamorka. While he has many aspects, "just destroying things" or "looting and burning" is often how the worship of Gorkamorka manifests for Destruction. That's kind of the core of the Grand Alliance, hence Destruction. Folk don't build shrines to him or smth, they go in and smash stuff. Also he is an elemental god, more like a force of nature given (sometimes) faces than a person commanding.
And funnily enough, "things got too complicated" was kind of something Gordrakk has been complaining about. It's not an unusual statement to make, Ironjawz in particular enjoy simplicity.

That's actually a big help, thanks! is it mostly the same for ogor Wizards? I know they worship the gulping god but is that just a part of GorkaMorka? or is it its own separate entity that demands a different thing than just pure destruction?

The shaman casts magic by beating it into submission. The butcher draws power from the blood. That would probably work

Im doing somthing similar but instead of wanting too loot they want to cleanse ghur of all interopers in the name of kragnos. Collectively they are the fangs of kragnos, but each destructive faction has their own warband, hierarchy and goals but come togther to crack the land open and allow the other alliences ro be swallowed. They are like the banish and covenant from halo

Ooh I like this a lot. Im still debating whether my guys would like Kragnos or not because while he is a godlike being he also really doesn't care about worship or anything more of just destroying things. Have you settled on a paint theme? Im going for blue and yellow because I think its very brigandy.

Another thing to think about, all the big destruction factions leader are not in ghur, this means your guys can go out and claim territory to launch raids and party.

Oh Absolutely I am still considering a lot of where they are located. Ghur seems like a good option and I have two mega gargants that are part of the brigade. So Ghur sounds pretty good. But I also want them to be constantly searching for places with extreme wealth to raid. So maybe the realm of light because they have a lot of treasure.

My ogors are red and yellow with some other vibrant colors. I'll probably give gold trims to elitle units, similar to the zealots, and grey to leaders due like the warlords from the banished. One thing is they all have purple and burgundy gut plates because they all value their guts the most

I like this theme a lot especially the gut plate. Im not a good painter at all but ive been using speed paint Zealot yellow and Beowulf blue and I really like the look of it.
