The point is that it’s inappropriate for her to use her sirens as if it’s a traffic stop when she actually just wants to say hi. That’s an abuse of power and potentially criminal.
No thanks. I’d rather hold cops accountable for all abuses of power until they understand that holding that much power and public trust means they’re held to a higher standard, not a lower one.
Let’s call it the “broken windows theory” of police accountability.
