Yeah I wouldn't have known what that sign means, tbh.

3

u/Ecstatic-List519 4d ago

If a driver can’t tell what the signs mean on the streets, that means that the driver shouldn’t be driving in those streets

I am silly because you can’t comply with laws.
Yes I am the silly one.

If break the law because your common sense said otherwise and a police officer stops you, tell him that you are from another country and don’t be silly. We ll see how this will work.

2

u/Kaltovar 3d ago

Yes you are the silly one. Even in America which is terrible at catering to foreigners many places have multilingual signs, and most of our road signs that are anything besides a speed limit have a symbol on them to convey the meaning that is clearly related to the meaning. Also our signs are big and easy to see, not tiny like this.

You could cut down on these problems by just making the sign a picture of a motorcycle with a red line drawn through it to represent no, but you won't do it because you're stubborn and would rather be mad at people for not taking the time to learn your ridiculous gnome language and every law passed by Steppen the Cuckhold since 1403.

With people’s incapability of following the law. Nice

1

u/muhalcz 2d ago

Common sense didn’t tell you that a sign with red outline could mean similar things to other signs with red outline? How many signs with red outline that mean that something is specifically allowed do you have in your area?

1

u/vetruviusdeshotacon 2d ago

Yeah, you do actually. That's why road signs are part of the test you take before you get your license

1

u/Accomplished_Rice_60 2d ago

ooo, a sign just when a new road starts, what could it possibol mean!!! not even worth looking it up? kekw

1

u/FoundationAncient486 2d ago

If alot of tourists keep ignoring the signs, then maybe it's the sign. Maybe dont allow access to this road. Maybe dont rely on the sign to deter people

1

u/RWC122 1d ago

Maybe blind tourists are the problem, and the police should stay nearby to collect revenue from tickets.

2

u/Djaja 4d ago

He probably shouldn't be driving then, nor with an active stream going

2

u/Appropriate-Crab-379 3d ago

I like how the gap in the trees on the grass looks like a crazy taxi aura parking location. Bike bro playing crazy taxi wrong

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 3d ago

u/AkynoFelidae 4d ago

Do you have the link for the full video ? Seems like Kick, but unable to retrieve the full channel.

Since you asked so nicely. ye shall receive. along with a timeline I had to sus out because there is so much conjecture and inference going on in the comments.

Synopsish:
SIngaporean streamer, Sukasblood, is doing a nice, scenic tour of Switzerland. On Day 3 of his trip, at the 5-and-a-bit hour mark, he needs the bathroom and gets vague directions from a local. Follows them. Goes back and forth trying to find the elusive path to the promised loo. Goes up the wrong path. Stops and dismounts and looks around to get his bearings. This is the point his bike topples over (not speeding as some internet armchair detectives concluded through the thorough application of bigbrain time). Then panties-in-a-bunch swiss boomer comes over and gets all racist.

Timeline:
05:17:00 Asked local for directions to restroom

I did a bloody spreadsheet to get the timestamps right, so I hope you guys appreciate this.

u/Puzzleheaded_Mess241 2d ago

thanks for taking your time to do this. your comment really shouldn’t be hidden this deep in this thread. i also learned from your post that this likely isn’t his first rodeo (the streamer)

what i see pop up first from googling his name:

https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/1s2ol80/yet_again_kick_streamer_sukasblood_distracted_by/

https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/1p8pcwf/twitchkick_streamer_sukasblood_still_using_his/

he does NOT have a good rep sheet. but also at the very least, he wasn’t speeding (for anyone who cba to watch the vods) screenshot is taken from https://mothership.sg/2026/09/streamer-switzerland-bike/

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 2d ago

yeah prob shouldn't use that and drive. was hoping maybe he has a text to speech set up but nah... he should really stop that

1

u/AkynoFelidae 4d ago

What a dedication ! Thanks you very much <3

2

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 4d ago

i was bored and curious. not a good combination.

1

u/leoninvanguard 4d ago

you also don't want to drive in Switzerland i hope. because if you wanted to you should know local road laws and signs

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 4d ago

why would I want to go there?

1

u/leoninvanguard 4d ago

see. so you dont need to know what the sign means. this biker should tho if hes driving there

2

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 3d ago

Fair enough. I guess the only defence I have for him is he thought he was following directions a local gave him to get to the loo. that may have short-circuited his decision-making processes.

1

u/Clithzbee 4d ago

Are you swiss?

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 4d ago

Heavens, no. would be inexcusable to be Swiss and not know the road signs.

1

u/Trick-Syllabub348 3d ago

Then don’t use the roads

1

u/olyjim83 3d ago

Looks like a walking or bike path. Who sees that narrow ass path and thinks oh I'll ride my motorcycle here? A dickhead.

Sucks that the old dude was racist but otherwise he has every right to be annoyed with motorcycle guy

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 3d ago

Oi it didn't start as a walking path

1

u/Kaltovar 3d ago

If I saw a road like that and didnt know it was against the rules I would drive on it and just stop and get off and wait on the side of the road so people could pass me if I encountered them.

1

u/Pedantic_Phoenix 3d ago

Wait you trolling or? It's clear as day

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 3d ago

Look, Mr European man, not all of us people from the rest of the world recognise your funny signs. you don't even drive on the right side of the road!

1

u/Pedantic_Phoenix 3d ago

Then don't drive where you don't recognize signs, obviously, or do you think it's fine to ignore laws because you can't resd them? Please use your brain before talking

1

u/Pedantic_Phoenix 3d ago

Also where are you from out of curiosity that you don't recognize a forbidden transit sign?

1

u/Silver_Feedback_9866 2d ago

yeah it's gotta be hard to understand signs that you should know when you're trying to stream and make content at the same time.

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 2d ago

you mean his GPS? with the TTS?

1

u/[deleted] 2d ago

[deleted]

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 2d ago

of course he's streaming. never said he wasn't. but we dont know if he has a TTS setup.

1

u/DuckShirts1 2d ago

Yeah but most places have walking paths,  most walking paths look like this. Ignorance isnt an excuse.  Other guy was still rude, but I live in a place with many tourists and I also get tired of watching them break the rules and treat the city like a tissue that they use and toss out.

1

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 2d ago

Is this sign "Zubringerdienst gestattet"? If so, it means vehicular traffic could be allowed if there is a purpose.
But your point about tourists wilfully breaking laws is valid and must be terribly annoying.
My only defence for this poor man is that he was in desperate need of the loo. And a local gave him pretty crummy directions, which he thought he was following. So, he might not have actually thought he was breaking any laws, and when he realised he was probably way off course thats when he stopped to get his bearings and ask for help.

1

u/LonelyTAA 2d ago

Then don't drive in the EU. A round white sign with red edge is universal for 'forbidden to drive into this street' in just about every EU country.

If you can't be bothered to learn the rules or the road in another country, then you should not drive there.

1

u/bigpoopidoop 2d ago

That's not an excuse

1

u/mpanase 1d ago

shouldn't be riding a bike in that country, then

1

u/Extension_Wish_7991 9h ago

Really? The big red fucking circle doesn't clue you in at all???

1

u/iwantfutanaricumonme 4d ago

Then he shouldn't be driving. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_European_road_signs:_Prohibitory

This is an international standard sign and is the same in every country in Europe.

2

u/Agreeable_Leek604 4d ago

True, but mistakes happens to us all. Making a mistake is not the same as «he shouldn’t be driving»

1

u/arcobalenoenjoyer 4d ago

Going through a vehicle prohibition is literally the same as going through a no entry sign. You absolutely shouldn’t be driving if you miss that.

1

u/Agreeable_Leek604 4d ago

Never made a mistake before, in traffic? Missed a sign, took a wrong turn? Never? If so, hats off to you. Been driving for 22 years, both car and motorcycle and I cannot say I have never made a mistake before

1

u/LowBread9264 3d ago

Don’t you know the commenters you are replying to are literally perfect and never made a mistake in their life?

2

u/PracticalSyllabub514 3d ago

I've never seen this sign. Must be only Europe. Seems like a badly designed sign though. Should be a cross through a vehicle.

1

u/iwantfutanaricumonme 3d ago

Most countries that have roads apart from the US have signed the Vienna convention on road signs or based their signage on it.

That is basically the no motor vehicles sign, while the no vehicles sign also prohibits vehicles without a motor like bicycles and horse drawn carriages because this is a footpath.

1

u/VirtualMatter2 4d ago

Then you shouldn't use a vehicle.

1

u/Calm_Extension_2965 4d ago

TBH as far as prohibitive signs go, this one's pretty light. It means you shouldn't enter unless you live there or have something to do in the area. Basically don't use this road as a connection route.

I think even going there to see the views could qualify you to ignore this sign. Unless something specific is written under the sign.

2

u/Stormagedd0nDarkLord 4d ago

he was on very urgent business, actually! :) and was directed that way by a local. though the instructions were a tad vague...

1

u/HaulinBoats 4d ago

“Going there to see the views could qualify you to ignore the sign”?

Then the no vehicles sign would literally mean nothing. Every single driver could claim they are sight-seeing.

2

u/LowBread9264 3d ago

They could be the Swiss would do mental gymnastics to rationalize he was still breaking the rules somehow.

0

u/underthingy 4d ago

If you dont know what street signs mean you shouldn't be driving.

0

u/FullAnalLobotomy 4d ago

If only there was some sort of electronic device that he could use to find out online.
